Wii Fit or Wii Fat?

When a 10 year-old girl from the South-East of Britain stepped on the scale of Nintendo's new game Wii Fit, she expected to get the blood pumping with some fun, casual exercising.

Instead, the game's software told her she was fat. Understandably, her father wasn't happy.

Oh boy... I didn't sue Nintendo/Kawashima when Brain Age told me I was 62. Until we have realtime 3D body recognition as a standard in games, those things will happen at some point. It's just a game, you know?

1.1 - Wii fit not for childern
Just like Wiisports fitness test those games are designed for audlts in the fact that the youngest age wait is 20 yrs old, so if childeren want to play it reesure theme are healthy no matter wat the game says.

That's the fault of the BMI. What happens when a kid goes to get a checkup at the Doctors? They're going to tell you are overweight based on the BMI. The BMI needs to change not the game.

still, if your fragile ego can't take a machine calling you fat.... I mean, c'mon suck it up.

Kids are lucky to work out on something fun like this, and have a father who doesn't like what the machine says about his daughter.
When I was a boy, my father used to get behind the wheel of a panzer tank, run it at me full speed, and the only thing I could do is stop it with my bare hands.
