GTA 3 vs. GTA 4 - Comparing Console Generations

The world of video games changes very quickly. Compared the relics, the graphics in games today are so more advanced it's incredible to see how far games have come in a relatively short time. Seeing as GTA 4 has become a gaming phenomenon VideoGamer thought they would look back at GTA 3 to see just how much of a leap has been made in one console generation.

Forget about gameplay, storyline and the rest - this video is purely about visuals. If this is the leap gamers have got from the first GTA on PS2 to the first GTA on PS3, just imagine what the first GTA on PS4 will look like.

7 - GTA 4 360 version seems more of an improvement

and even still in the pc version of gta 3 i was able to jack the rez to even higher than 1280 X 720, not so much for the level of detail or polygon counts.

the 360 version GTA4 is better than the two....but then the PC version might be better than both, but their's no telling what kind of requirements the pc version might have.

we will see with KZ2 hence why the game will look awesome this time around.

As for this game: does anyone think the next GTA will look all super the way we view these comparisons....hmm probably not.IMO

This type of reflection is fine. It's nice to see where we have been and where we are now.

However, I don't think we will see such a difference in the series should EA assimilaite Take-Two. Just my opinion.
