Pitfall: The Big Adventure For the Wii w/ Screenshots

Activision, Inc. announced today "Pitfall: The Big Adventure" for Wii is in development at Edge of Reality and will swing onto shelves this Fall. With more than 10 million Pitfall titles sold to date, Pitfall: The Big Adventure will introduce the franchise to a new generation of gamers while bringing a fresh Pitfall experience to long time fans.

This series has taken on an interesting art direction. I myself always saw Pitfall as having a serious Indiana Jones-esque type of atmosphere until Pitfall: The Lost Expedition came out w/ a cartoony feel in '04. I'm not sure if I like it or not but I applaud any decision to go w/ artistic styling in favor of photorealism (which has become boring and commonplace IMHO).

What's really interesting is that the series has sold 10 million units!

Yeah it's a different art style but it should do well
