I've had a hatred for GameDaily ever since I read this.

I'm not complaining about the score, but rather the text of the review. It's filled with so much false information I have no idea how it managed to get posted on the site. The review also reads like he never even passed Act I, which is only a couple of hours of gameplay.

1. Bias bullsht: Gamedaily is so bias towards 360 that its not even funny. After putting out a shtlist of a list of reasons to buy the 360 GTA, they put out a crappier makeup list for ps3 that was still geared towards 360. Even in this piece, they had to say "multi-console owners (like us)" to try to save their skins. Ex. *reasons we will be playing it on 360" "reasons YOU will be playing it on ps3"

2. WTF is up with their self advertising?: At the end of every one of their lists, no matter what the number, there is always one more page. You ask yourself and then proceed to find out to see the next page is just a picture of their logo. I'm sorry, but am I the only one who finds that stupid? QUIT WITH THE DAMN EXTRA BS PAGE!

3. SHTTY lists: Partly mentioned in number 1, their lists is full of stupid comments. SO, GTA is a reason you stopped playing Brawl? So you aren't ever going to pick it up again because of GTA? I'm a GTA fan, but i'm also a SSB fan. Just because GTA came out doesn't mean I'm not going to ever get tired of it and never going to want to play brawl again. Also, why the double reasons? This is the 3rd list i've seen where they have one reason listed twice. They could just have easily put them together. It's almost as bad as them saying "we don't need no stinking DLC" when it has already been confirmed that GTA on ps3 will have it's own DLC too. Usually, they have one decent reason in their lists. Like this one's was "Mario Kart came out early". Even then, people like to play multiple games. Get tired of racing? Beat up ppl on brawl. Get tired of that? Go Race. SSB and Kart are the only lasting, decent non-main nintendo character games. So of course they will play both. Heck, my friends still played Melee until Brawl came out.

4: Has to bash other websites: If you noticed, in this list, they had to quote 3 separate other sites in their reasons, FOR NO REASON. This is along the same line as self advertising with the extra page. It's like they are trying to stroke themselves or something.

5. Most likely, they will get hate and put out a "reasons YOU won't quit playing brawl anytime soon": you know it will prolly come. It will prolly have crappier, made up reasons. It seems they know nothing but how to bash.

They have seriously lost their rep, if they ever had one.

I bought the Wii for Super Smash but it turns out I play more Wii Sports. I don't see myself buying anything for the Wii other then Wii Sports this year.

I agree, these lists are horrible.

As for Brawl, it was probably the game with the most hype that seemed to disappear two days after release. I guess the casuals aren't into log term game sessions...

For me Smash Melee on the Gamecube was the pinnacle of the Smash series, although I did like to ratchet up the damage percentage and the handicap so I can do Mario's headbutt and fling Captain Falcon to the skies on the N64, especially right after he taunts me and says "Show me your moves" and off he goes!!! hehehe

I haven't been very impressed with Nintendo's line up this year.
Brawl... I liked Melee. And Kart I buy kart for 4 player split screen battle mode, and I used to like GP race until the invention of the blue shell. (...after the SNES)

Wit Fit....? Seeing as N4G is News 4 Gamers - I can't imagine many of us on these boards give a cr4p about Wii Fit.

pes on the wii is really fun. it took me seven hours to get the hang of it and now i can't get back to playing it the old way. 2 bad there aren't many games like it on the wii.

I would mostly agree with that but I would add Mario Zelda and Metroid to the list of games that bore.... Nintendo has not had an original game in 15 years. And I would remove "No More Heroes" - it actually is somewhat of a revelation to the Nintendo Universe.

Technically speaking, No More Heroes isn't a Nitnendo game, it's a Ubisoft game so you can't credit Nintendo for it's development. But it's true, the last truly original IP that Shigeru Miyamoto pulled out of his hat was StarFox back in 1993. 15 bloody years since Nintendo's last original IP....

GTA does have something to do with Brawl, because any gamer that owns a Wii and a current gen console is not going to keep playing Brawl when they could be playing GTA. That would be madness.

With you, as I have even seen my friend stop playing brawl because of how "repetitive" it has become. Even then he only had it for maybe a week or two. Mario Kart apparently is already falling just as well...

Wonder if their is even going to be a fun game to play once the Wii is finally available for everyone and not sold out anymore.

The online is quick and easy to get into with no lagg(i was amazed) even with 12 player battles/races love the way the miis come up and show u who your playing against and from what country.

So far it the fastest online racer to get into a match no searching for rooms(Forza2) or long loading times with lagg ridden games topped off with wall grinding/bumping cheating(GT5p.)

I guess most of you are narrow minded and dont have a wii but came into bash it as its tearing up in the sales department. You should give it a go its a great alternative to normal gaming.

I have a wii and have bought a wii for an aunty of mine to help here excercise. I never thought i would ever buy a console for a relative thats older than me. Such is the beauty of the wii

Can't wait till we get brawl over here in the uk. Then the Ps3 will be the only console that does not have a new online fighting game for this generation. The ps3 Vf5 with no online was a disgrace.

Oh can any off you connect to the Ps3 version of GTA4 ONLINE YET???
Because when i tried it at a friends it took forever to get into a match.

No I don't have a Wii, but played Mario Kart Wii, Brawl, and the likes. Bound to get a Wii this wednesday so really why would I bash or be narrow minded about something that I'm going to buy? You can disagree but people are already starting to dislike Mario Kart Wii, various blogs and sites have already stated that. I was doing nothing more than stating basically what I have seen through those. Of course it doesn't account to everyone, but for it to have a few wide spread people posting about it, then it must say something.

So before I get disagreed upon perhaps the post should have been read throughly, I was just restating what I saw. But I was serious about the "Fun games" Repetitive games (never ending party games) can only last you for so long. Also how can you say "bash" I was merely being serious once they ramp up sales to when their is a wii on EVERY store will their be great titles to play? So far I have not bashed the Wii yet, I have merely talked on the games for the Wii, I have bashed nothing yet...
