Wii Fit Pre-orders Outselling Grand Theft Auto IV?

One full day post Grand Theft Auto IV release, and we see that Wii Fit is still at the top of the Amazon USA Bestseller list. Granted, if you combined the Xbox 360 and PS3 game sales, they would certainly trump Wii Fit... but this is crazy insane...

Nintendo could release a 'Wii Take Out The Trash' game, and it would probably sell like hotcakes as well......

honestly does it matter IF its the top selling game?
The amount of copy's being sold are enough to keep R* going.
Even if Wii-fit sells more, there is no reason to be angry or whatever about it. R* did their job and succeeded, so why cant Nintendo?

I'm sorry but, "easy" ? no its not.
Making a concept intoo actuall production takes lots of time, Trials and Errors. Debugging your concept is something thats done more then the actuall production.
Im not Saying GTA didnt took longer to make( i wont disagree on this) BUT the basics for GTA4 were already proven to be working.( GTA3/GTA SA)

Where Wii-fit still has to prove itself to be really "good" to a consumer.

like i said in my post below, People say Wii and PS360 arent competing...but how can this do any harm to anyone?
I for one dont See Wii-fit, but SSX or 1080o with the balance board.

The sales are good on amazon because thats where casual gamers (like mums) buy their little games from. They don't know to shop around at gaming stores etc, they just know amazon.

... holistically at trends in fitness and exercising, I can say with absolute certainty there WILL eventually be a commercial/ad with "Wii Fit" people who were grossly fat person and WILL claim to have lost the weight with the help of Wii Fit. Also there are more people in this country and across the world who are unhappy with the way they look and are desperately willing to try anything to lose the weight to feel better.

Therefore you can generally conclude that there are WAAAAAAY more of those people then there are people that want to play GTA4. There is no comparing these two games at the end of the day as it relates to the total number of game units sold, GTA will lose. GTA4 will sell a lot of copies but the number of casual gamers is MASSIVE.

I WISH I was selling something to this group of individuals, because I'd be RICH, I'd become a fat slob, and I'd be flailing my arms daily...not playing no Wii games but shoveling more food into my mouth.
