From Gaming Target: "After just one week on store shelves, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii has become the fastest-selling video game in Nintendo of America's history. Since its launch on March 9, the feature-packed fighting action game has sold more than 1.4 million units in the United States, including more than 874,000 on March 9 alone. It has sold at a rate of more than 120 units per minute between launch and March 16."

Never understood why these games are so popular and sell THIS good. Sure, inclusion of Mairo, Sonic and the gang in one decent game (Unlike Olympics one) is a huge plus but near 1 million in one day!? Crazy.

It's more like one hardcore gamer-approved Wii game once in a while (there are a couple good casual games), so that's why it sold well. Also, I'd say Galaxy was great as was Zelda.

keeps me from wasting money on crappy HD-era games. You can only play so many FPS games, until the genre gets stale. Shoot, shoot, shoot=LAME.

i am LOVING this game.. and i've been bad.. still haven't played much of the sigle player stuff but i know i should to open characters.. but brawl;ing on custom stages and on WIFI is just SO MUCH FUN!..

during the first week the online was annoying but now its flawless.. unless someone has a bad connection, but thats like with everything.. I love BRAWL ONLINE.. it may not have stats tracking but it does have some stats available offline and its always fun to see how good people out there are.. and some people are really good.

and there is so much to do in this game, i mean so many features that its almost impossible to do everything within the first 40 hours.. and the replay value is just off the charts in this game compared to MELEE. its scary(scares me how much time i wanna play this)
