I can't think of anything worse than a GH game with only aerosmith music. For me, they represent everything that is wrong with cheesy US rock music, and this will be the first game in the series that I will definately NOT buy.
I sincerley hope this is not the beggining of a trend, and activision starts to remember its the diversity of the music in these titles that makes them fun...

Sorry but these guys are raping us with DLC, £70 for the game then everyweek its a few ££ here and a few ££ there.

Having consoles online now allows developers to take advantage of us. Basically you end up buying things you dont even really want purely because your bored or learnt the selection of songs you currently own.

EDIT: it wouldnt be so bad if they came with an MP3 version of each of the songs so at least you could listen to them at your leisure.

With all the sales Wii is getting for GH3 I hope they release 1+2 disc so we have that as well.

Ugh. They're going to Sims-up to the Guitar Hero franchise. It's going to become even more polluted and, eventually, meaningless.

This sort of thing would work infinitely better with Rock Band. Why? Because Rock Band is about a BAND. What better way to "relive the career" of the band than by actually playing through that career as a BAND rather than just the guitarist/bassist?

Offer this for $10-20 as DLC on Rock Band and you have a license to print money. But as a new Guitar Hero game? No thanks.

If its more than $35-40 (which it will) then f*** that. Its a concept that may work, seeing as the game is called Guitar HERO. I'm not sure that Aerosmith as the first band is a great idea, but thats just me.

Activision seems to be taking a lesson from EA: milk the franchise for all it has by breaking a big product down and charging more for the sum of the parts.

I don't like this. First, I don't like Aerosmith that much. Second, couldn't they just put the songs on the DLC rather than waste the manpower making new graphics and burning discs that are probably not going to sell that well?

I liked GH because it offered so many types of rock. UGH! I don't see how this is going to do Activision any good. I mean if you're a die hard Aerosmith fan then by all means your prayers have been answered. I would've gone for a AC/DC GH or Led Zepellin. C'mon, Aerosmith? I like the band but not enough to buy a GH game dedicated to them.
