As if Nintendo hasn't packed enough into Super Smash. Bros Brawl already, rumour has it that a new WiiWare channel will soon be launching to provide players with a host of downloadable extras.

1 - Great
Nintendo is finally getting with the times. I have no problem playing for stages, items, and for sure characters but for stickers, music and other useless crap no thanks but im happy Nintendo will be giving us the option to get new characters and I have a feeling Mega Man will be the first download Nintendo will be releasing. I cant wait till brawl Its going to be my GOTY for 08. Oh wait co-game of the year with Resident Evil 5. That game is going to be off the chart.

Do they really have to? Not really considering people are going to buy this regardless and spend countless hours playing this beast of a game. I really hope they do this because there's a lot of money in doing this i think considering I always end up with 100-300 wii points leftover. Could be nice spending it on characters or a SSBB package deal.

So there will be DLC for Brawl?

DLC characters could include characters from:
Sonic Series?
Metal Gear Solid series?

Hmm mixed feelings. I'm happy but jaded unless a harddrive comes out. I've been maxed out on memory for a bit now. I even needed to delete a VC game to save my Endless Ocean file :(

I would love to see this, and it could definitly be a cash cow for Nintendo, but I am hesitant to believe it.

Nintento has been dragging its feet on the online issue for such a long time and there have been so many rumors for online features for the wii that never happened that I refuse to believe any Nintendo/online rumors until I start seeing some come true.

8 - just you wait
it took less than a week for Brawl to sell 800k in Japan alone. Wait for it to release in the US... it's gonna sell probably 3mill in the first week. And most of those will be hardcore gamers clamoring for new content... things they wished were in the release version. Nintendo stands to make many times more money of of DLC than they do from the game itself. If they dont do this... they'll be damaging their wallet and the hopes of gamers everywhere. They stand to gain way too much from this to pass it up.

But then again... maybe it's just wishful thinking.
