Hmm while another type of Ready to Rumble boxing game could be fun I really liked the Fight Night games. For shame those are no longer :(

Maybe it was in line with making their games more Wii-esque. The realistic graphics style in Fight Night would look so much worse on the Wii than on the 360/PS3. With this new art direction it will look more acceptable. That's what I think made them change it.

Ready 2 rumble was great on the Dreamcast, but even on the Wii, the premise would be a little dated.

5 - if EA or any other 3rd party
wants to make money on the Wii, they simply need to think outside the box. The GAMING MEDIA has potrayed this image that the Wii is this and that, regardless of its success.

So if I was a Dev ill push the Wii as hard as I can and make games that people wouldnt think you'll see on Wii. (Oblivion for example)

The terms "hardcore" and "casual" have really warped the minds of naive gamers all over the world. I thought casual games were games that dosent have a steep learning curve and were fun. And I thought "hardcore" games were games that have a cult following because of that titles innovations and fun factor.

Nowadays hardcore games mean "blood, cursing and guns" and casual games are "minigames". Yeah sure Wiiplay and Wiisports are the two biggest casual games out, but what about CoD4, DMC4, Uncharted and Crackdown?? Those are casual games they're all easy to get into and finish on regular difficulty.

But does the GAMING MEDIA call those games "casual??", I think not!!
*end rant*

Agreed. Good definition of hardcore and casual games.
