Cave Story's protagonist gets a palate swap

BeefJack writes: "As I mentioned before, WiiWare seems to be a great place for indie developers to go. It's got a huge install base, and so far indie games have done pretty well, while occasionally using the WiiMote in unique ways. So I'm extra disappointed in Nintendo for keeping Cave Story, freeware turned WiiWare, from being released.

Like I said, Cave Story was, and is, freeware, anybody can download it free of charge. I could play it right now, but I'm waiting for the WiiWare version. It's supposed to look better, have a professional translation, and I just might be able to give the developer a bit of my cash."
