College News reviews: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash Up

"TMNT: Smash Up isn't as good as Super Smash Bros. regardless of what the hype may have lead you to believe, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. The core gameplay, though lacking in variety, is solid and well executed. The graphics are exceptional, there's lots of modes to keep you busy and Ubisoft did a pretty good job of making sure there's enough fan service scattered throughout to appease nostalgic Ninja Turtles fans.

The roster definitely could have been expanded and the game feels a bit too much like an inferior Super Smash Bros. clone, but despite that, it's still an enjoyable game. Hardcore Turtles fans and gamers looking for a solid four-player fighter will not be disappointed. "
