Data Design Interactive have announced that Kidz Sports - Crazy Mini Golf is one of the first titles to take advantage of the new Wii MotionPlus Accessory, which enhances the fun with its highly accurate gyroscope based, controller extension.
Data Design Interactive has released a trailer of its upcoming Kidz Sports - Crazy Mini Golf for Wii, showcasing what you can do with the Wii MotionPlus accessory.
RealGamer writes: "The Wii isn't short of Golf games, as the actual movements for the sport fit the control style of the console so well. With this in mind you would think games developers would spend quite some time perfecting the control methods, however many have not and Data Design are no exception to this rule with their Kidz Sport Crazy Mini Golf.
In the game up to four players can take part in a single hole or championship over 9 or 18 holes. The game includes four different courses to play on. The games holes are fairly well designed offering various different obstacles to overcome. Sadly though the games courses are lacking a little in challenge and most players will easily be able to clear the courses with very little thought or strategy."
Crazy Mini Golf does provide the cosmetics to try and sell you, the gullible public, in on its whopper of a fib; spot their game on the shelves, and you'll see it packaged with a respectable wiimote accessory that, thanks to the power of telescopic plastic shafts, will turn your pad into a pitching wedge. Not sure why you'd need a pitching wedge in a subgenre of golf that only requires a putter, but it's an appreciated touch and a sturdy bit of kit. But! Just because it looks more like a golf club, the refutable claim fails hold any more water. Crazy Mini Golf's ad-heavy swing is a joke. A game-ruining joke.
