Ubisoft has announced that it will be once again working with Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White to develop their new title, Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.
"Ubisoft has seemed to have hit a mine of potential with the Shaun White branding. This new series of games started out with a multi-platform snowboarding game that sold over a million copies on the Wii alone. Clearly, the sales numbers have prompted the developers to release a sequel to this successful game, entitled 'Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage'. And plans are well under way to develop a skateboarding game based off the Olympian gold medalist. Now I personally thought the first game (SWS: Road Trip) was pretty fun, but I did have trouble really getting into it. How does the sequel compare?" -- Wiiloveit.com
CoffeewithGames shows the play-time data for Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage and says, "It took 289 days for Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage's play-time data to debut on the Wii's Nintendo Channel."
Included in with the debut data is the, "Approx. Number of Players Reporting Data, 'Total' Game-Play & Average Hours Played Reported, Sale Rank & Sale Price, and Review Score Averages".
Shaun White appeared on KROQ this morning...with a little bit of news to spill.
Wii version sold more than both HD versions combined.
Well Shaun White should be happy he's gets another game with his name on it :)
Pretty cool! Graphics are looking pretty good too!
horrible on the 360 and ps3...
1080 on the 64 is still one of the best.
interested in this if they can give the title a little more life than the original. Controls were fantastic, features were lackluster.
Could be a great sports title. Wii now has golf, tennis, and snowboarding to call it's own when talking about control.
