Gamebosh Review: Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre

It's been three years in the making, yet the Wii version of Rogue Trooper plays more like something that was cooked up in a matter of weeks. Maybe the original Xbox version was decent enough, but based purely on The Quartz Zone Massacre you have to wonder just what all the fuss was about.

Fair enough, shooting games on the Wii are always going to play second fiddle to the PS3/360 versions with their HD graphics and better control pad layouts, but there are the odd exceptions (Call of Duty W.A.W, Medal of Honor, etc). Rogue Trooper has poor graphics - well, the water effects are good - but that could have been forgiven if the gameplay was up to scratch.
It isn't.
