It's really a shame Nintendo decided to released the game for the NES - If they had released it for the SNES, perhaps the series could've still been going today. The game was released in the US so late that there was no more time for a PAL conversion - This means that if it's released on the European Virtual Console, it'll most likely cost 100 Wii Points extra as it'll be an import.
