Animal Crossing City Folk import from DS region locked

In what seems to be a huge mistake or oversight on behalf either Nintendo Europe or Australia, it seems that if you bought an Aussie copy of Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City and you have an Aussie version of Animal Crossing: Wild World, if you want to import your character, you're flat out of luck. Nintendo has in fact given Australians the US version of Wild World. And guess what – Let's Go to the City doesn't speak American.

This will also affecting people who don't have matching region games in either America or Europe.
