Nintendo service rep: Disaster announced for North America

Numerous statements from Nintendo of America spokesman have echoed the same sentiment about the fate of Disaster: Day of Crisis in North America: Wait and see how the game performs in Europe. At this point, it's no secret that the game has sold rather poorly, which would lead one to believe that the game has a small chance of coming stateside. Strangely though, an email from a Nintendo customer representative may indicate otherwise...

Oh god I hope this is true.

I hope it comes to the states.I already know a few people who want to pick it up.

Kamikaze1355631d ago

This would give me a reason to actually get a Wii....

TheColbertinator5631d ago

You haven't picked one up yet? You been missing out on some good stuff

Alcohog5631d ago

I just got a Wii recently and I'm struggling to find anything I want for it. Suggestions?

Also on-topic: If the game is not selling well, is it not getting good reviews, either?

Yeah! Like Brawl and Wii Sports and... that one game that was kind of fun! And that other one with the minigames!

So many choices!

Kamikaze1355631d ago

Well, my Wii has been dead for some time and I haven't gotten the urge to get it fixed or get a new one. I've had it since the midnight launch and it died on me three months ago. The games, in my opinion, suck. Plus I have a PS3 so I'm in no rush to obtain a new one or get it fixed.

Smacktard5631d ago (Edited 5631d ago )

Steven Colbert: I'd like to add a few to that list.

Boom Blox
Blast Works
Zack and Wiki
MERCURY MELTDOWN REVOLUTION!!!

Get these games if you haven't already.

edit: I've also heard good things about Wario Land: Shake It and de Blob

kesvalk5630d ago

de blob is awesome, but you guys forgot World of Goo and Megaman 9...

and if you like dungeons crawlers, chocobo fables is awesome...

Voiceofreason5630d ago

@Steven, you should add these to your upcoming list. Punch Out, Rune Factory,Onechanbara,Arc Rise Fantasia,Overlord, NMH desperate struggle,House of the dead and Fragile. 09 should be a very good year for Wii games.
