My Pokémon Ranch Updated In Japan

N-Europe writes: "With the Japanese release of Pokémon Platinum, our friends over at top Pokémon site Serebii.net have confirmed that gamers in the region are being treated to an update for their My Pokémon Ranch WiiWare software, featuring several pieces of new content.

The update allows full compatibility with Platinum, new and updated Pokémon animations, new Pokémon toys, plus all the new Pokémon forms available in the new DS game and new sorting options. While the new version now comes as standard from the Wii Shop Channel, existing downloaded copies of the game can also be updated for free."
