GAME points to Wii Software Shortages

While a lack of hardware was a given, it's quite surprising to learn from employees of GAME - the UK's largest game retailer - that most stores will not get a copy of Zelda or extra nunchuk for each console they recieve - at many stores Wii gamers may be forced to go home with just the console and Wii Sports.

GAME stores have taken action to try to prevent the shortage from causing too much trouble - banning lone software purchases! Until the launch period is over, don't expect to be able to walk into a GAME store and purchase a game - the chain will only be selling games and accessories to people who have purchased the console. All previous software orders are nul and void - software will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
