RUMOUR: Mega Man 9 Coming To WiiWare?

WiiWare World writes: "With the news that Super Mario RPG received an OFLC rating, we almost missed another interesting listing on the ratings site.

The OFLC also has a listing for Mega Man 9. As any Capcom fan should know, this is a new game, as the "classic" Mega Man series' last instalments were 8, and Mega Man & Bass."

Now this is the kind of news i want to hear.Although i would like to see this go in a different direction then 2d platformer but if its wiiware 2d is prolly all it can handle due to memory.

there was Megaman 7 for the SNES, then there was 8 for the PS1, and also Megaman for the snes again. A game where you could select Treble

This is cool news but this isn't really something new like lostwinds was.Which lostwinds kicked ass.Still tho megaman wiiware is hot.

I know man,lostwinds was nothin' short of amazing considering it was a downloadable 43mb game.I can't wait for the next installment...hopefully they span the story out through 5 games or so.

I love those games. I played mega man x 4 on ps1 and couldent stand his girly voice. Hopefully capcom releases something like that for all the systems.

hopefully they do that on VC/arcade/psn cause I loved those MMX games. The music in the snes versions kicked ass.

sounds great PSN could potentially mean remade into HD graphics. On the VC the Nes games have been coming out every 6 months and we are due for another this month. I'm more suprised that the Japan VC list has not yet shown a Rock Man for the snes. I guess until they show up for release in japan before we ever see those classics. If Nintendo doesn't hurry up maybe a PSN version might actually appear first..
