Throwing things at things: a review of Boom Blox (Ars Technica)

Ben Kuchera writes:

The Good:
* Intuitive controls
* A good variety of things to do
* Strong physics engine
* Large replay value
* Easy to pass with bronze medals for young players, tough to get
golds for the hardcore
* Level creation gives Boom Blox even longer legs

The Bad:
* The game can be a little easy at times
* The framerate takes a dive when many things are going on at once,
despite the simple graphics
* You'll want to throw the projectiles faster and faster...
and that's where Wii-elbow comes in
* The cutesy graphics can get on your nerves

The Ugly:
* Steven Spielburg gets to hang out with Vin Diesel at the "stars of
film who also helped make great games" party
