Nintendo's Wii is designed to welcome new gamers with its easy-to-understand motion controls. So it is surprising (pleasantly surprising, mind you) that Aksys is releasing a balls-out hardcore shmup that doesn't utilize the console's motion controls at all. Castle of Shikigami III was released in Japanese arcades in 2005 and is a relic of a bygone era of gaming. Not for the faint of heart, this is an extremely difficult shooter designed to devour your 100 Yen coins. There is nothing else like it on the Wii, though, and Shikigami III is a most welcome addition to IGN's library.
