"Hearing that Alone in the Dark won't make its February release wasn't too unexpected. This latest AitD game looks promising and surprisingly ambitious, but from what we saw of the 360 version several weeks ago it would not have been ready to roll so soon. The first-person aiming was awkward (though you play the game primarily in third-person), Edward Carnby's transition animations between various movements seemed to be missing, and the environmental object physics -- which play a significant part of the game -- still needed some polishing."
