Thank you devs for being on the side of gamers.

derek23d ago

The game was paid for and published by Sony, and owned by them it wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for them. The CM spoke out of pocket, the requirement was turned off at Arrowhead request to help those dummies get their act together when the game launched.

XiNatsuDragnel23d ago

Lol man it's still an injustice because the countries that don't have psn needed to get supported ngl bad hindsight on Sony lol

derek23d ago

@Xi, the fake outrage crowd is using these countries without psn because they know their childish cries about setting up a free psn account were laughable. People in countries without psn or other networks are use to using foreign accounts to register for online games. I think Sony will implement a work around for these jurisdictions. The Ceo of Arrowhead is an amateur who should get offline becuase he's making a fool of himself. He's the one who decided to suspend the requirement because he thought it would help them smooth out the launch.

It’s still okay to speak up. Even if it’s against Sony, or your employer. Employees and consumers should be empowered to point out something bad without being scared of repercussions.

OMNlPOTENT23d ago

Does Sony pay you or something? There's no chance "people in countries without psn are use to using foreign accounts to register for online games" is an actual argument. If Sony is paying you, I hope they read this and fire you because jesus christ man

franwex20d ago

Well I guess he was demoted. So I guess you’re satisfied.

Very loud minority is complaining. I see people using one in every round i play and they kick ass, have to remember there are tons of kids that play this game, and they complain about every single little tiny bad thing even if there are 10 pros and 1 con. Also, this is definitely not accurate. I’ve literally seen these mechs destroy chargers and titans, in the gate defense missions with this mech it literally makes it infinitely easier to hold the gates.

What a crock of shit, whoever wrote this just sucks at the game, they’re embellishing everything for some reason. Maybe they have a chip on their shoulder against the developers. Stop playing the game if all it does is make you angry, those of use that love the game will continue to appreciate their constant updates and toys to play with.

Matter of fact this post just made me want to play around, see you on the battlefield.

Are the number of shots required to kill the enemies outlined in the article incorrect?

I haven't tested it myself but this is a snippet from the article.

"Kills Bile Titans to the head in around 40-45 shots (Way more than the autocannon sentry for some stupid reason)
Kills Chargers to the head in 10 shots
Kills Chargers to the leg in 8 shots
Kills Bile Spewers in 4 shots
Kills Brood Commanders in 2-4 shots to the head"

Some support weapons can one-shot those enemies and I believe the argument is that the mech should be more powerful than it appears.

I personally think it is about using the right weapon for each faction. This new mech is more effective against the automatons while the first mech is stronger against the terminids.

The new mech is really good against bugs

So yes I think this was basically revealed yesterday. So apparently (and mind you HD lore is really quite dark) they have Illuminate blood stored from the first war that will be used as a super weapon to destroy an entire planet. The bug blood, BTW, is also used by Super Earth to power FTL travel.

Can't wait to experience the last stand of the super bug colony. And then face the Illuminate.
