As most of you know I enjoy all the systems and buy basically any game that'll come out. Still I've come to a certain conclusion that having this ability to enjoy them all it still doesn't mean you won't get haters. I've just been bumped up to 5 people ignoring me and can only come to the conclusion that most of them are MS fans.
I say this for I have given most of my 'needs work' posts to the 360 collums. Mostly because they are the ones that need it. This continuing of just ignoring the problems and only giving us half truths to flat out denying a recall or a redesign for that matter. Kind of reminds me of a dictator er that is president we have. Heh but politics are not for this website.
To this date I pretty much know who the Nintendo fans are for I see them commenting with me and having a general good experience with that machine. I've gotten countless invites on my PS3 from the PSN folks and only gotten animosity from 360 fans. Microsoft seems to have created this hybrid of fans that can only be xbox or nothing at all. With that comes a certain hate towards anything that can be called a gaming device (other than xbox) and yes even those who play on them.
Lets talk PS3 and Wii for a moment. Lair as we know didn't fair to well on the reviews. Most PS3 fans could only say 'Well I liked it' some even said 'The controls aren't that good really'. An understanding about a game amazing. Not every game can be a blockbuster. How often do Wii owners need to say 'Sure it doesn't have the same graphics of Gears but I have a kick out of playing it' defending is one this while flat out denying is another. This MS fans excel at.
Halo 3 hasn't even been out for a week and we are starting to see how some are having problems with it. Some say it's freezing their 360's with video to prove it. Some say that the saves do not work, and many are getting scratched disks that garner the game useless. All to which these 360 'gamers' exclaim as all FUD and only a Sony person would say that. Defending of blindly following? I'll admit my Halo 3 game had a few errors on not saving. A small measure by any means for the chapters are fairly short. Never had it freeze on me nor do I have a scratched disk, but seeing that it didn't happen to me it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. This is a concept that basically all 360 owners need to come to grips with.
The new 640p thing when first brought up was surrounded by a bunch of 360 fans saying not true way to be stupid other console fans. Then Bungie cleared it up by saying no really it's true to which now all the 360 fans say yea see it's 640p but who cares. These are the same people who balk anything that's not 720p... interesting no? If a Halo 3 review is under 9 they'll say 'why all the hate this is the greatest game to ever come out!' Granted this game needed to come out and I did enjoy the game. Still need to beat it on Heroic and Legendary so replay value is golden on this but the only new thing brought to the table is the wonderful guns. They can say graphics all they want but play Heavenly Sword and then tell me about graphics. Oh and Halo 3 single story is around the same time for HS, but Halo does have multiplayer so there you have it.
Lets talk defects. I'm pretty sure every 360 fan has put this comment in their clipboard. "Well the system I bought at launch is still working so all these claims that the system breaks down is pure bull" all I can say to that is I didn't know one console counted as 10 million that's right folks you are not the only person to have boughten a system on launch day. The defect rate is ~25% and that's lowballing it. So that means ~75% are working just dandy and won't see a problem. I seem to have bad luck with my 360's (maybe this is why I give the 360 the most 'needs work' approach). I'm on 2.5 for 360 purchase and I'll explain. My launch one has been good but usually froze up on DOA4 and Enchanted Arms just those two for some reason. Later it was happening more often and soon the only way for me to get past the opening and into the blades menu was to unplug the power cord and once back in place quickly get the power on. As you can guess it was fried a month later. I was lucky enough to get a used core at Gamestop and no it wasn't banned from Live (whew) that one only lasted a month due to the disk drive getting stuck and only opened with a screwdriver (I didn't do it the Gamestop employee did) had a game in it after all. Anyway that was my .5 for I was able to return it and then I bought a new Premium making my 360 number to 2.5
So far so good. I've been playing Oblivion GOTY edition and Halo as of now on it. I have Oblivion as well for PS3 but dang if it isn't a perfect game. I'll talk differences of the two on another blog but most likely will lead to more ignores :(
Okay got off track for a moment there. The anger expressed by most 360 fans is that it doesn't break and they will not believe you if it has broken for you. They'll just call you a dumb sony droid and blind lemming. The hypocrisy on that is intense. As a 360 fan it's one thing to like all things 360 but to flat out deny anything bad that comes to 360 and blame the other company for your shortcoming is ridiculous. For every post negative for the 360 they will claim how this site is soooo pro Sony and how it's not fair. Yet for every negative Sony/Wii post they'll "Jump In" and bash away saying see you should of gotten a 360 buy american. This is what I see 360 fans as a bunch of bully's who expect you to conform and see their ways as the only way.
I like the 360 it's a great machine and has some of the great games this gen, but I also like the Wii and PS3 for the same reason. The one thing I hate about the 360 are the fanatics that come from it. This stupid 'buy american' crap is rediculos, and the blind following and bashing of others is just as bad. Not to mention all the hate that can be found on Live. So just be sure that the 360 is nice but don't expect to be friends with most of them if you like something else as well. They don't take kindly to change or variety.

And yes of course msoft fanboys are denying hardware issues, at least to the extent that it so happens to be. Of course they are fanboys so naturally they would think this way.
But then we have the sony fanboys as bad as the Msoft fanboys. I have never been more harassed by anyone like nasim and his multiple accounts. No one, not the mart or anyone. He would pm me over and over(in his larry007 account). But i am going off on a tangent. Both sides can really be as bad as each other. If a PS3 game doesn't deliver or supposedly "deliver" Msoft fanbvoys will gladly point that out and vice versa with sony fanboys.

And where did you come up with buy American? Who said that on this site? Maybe they did i dunno. There would be nearly as much or as much if someone only bought Asian product or European products only.

LOL love it. Yeah the droids are out for all the systems and Nasim is really bad I think he has the most deleted posts as of lately. I just pointed out the 360 crowd for I seem to get attacked by them more then the others that's all.

I agree with snoop that the fanboys are just as bad on both sides. I have been on the site for a while and the fanboys go in cycles according to the most recent news. During GDC, Sony fans came out from everywhere but slowly got replaced by more 360 fans as Sony failed to deliver anything they spoke about at the conference.
Halo 3 has really brought the worst out in both sides over the last week. Sony fans promoting bad stories whilst also bad mouthing good stories and 360 fans visa versa.
Lets face it no console is perfect and Halo certainly isn't lol 360 hardware problems exist but the 3 year warranty means I don't worry about it.
640p - I play on a SDTV so again I don't worry about it :) Also i can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p :)
in response to Halo SP been the same length as HS; I would disagree. If you played by yourself without coop (same as HS) then it would take along time (12-15 hours) to finish Halo on heroic and above. Coop does shorten that time but it still took me 8 hours to finish on heroic with 3 friends helping. Campaign Scoring/skulls/achievements also extend this time.
