Usually I would say someone who is just spouting out drivel should be just ignored, but hell that guy is funny and people should visit his blog for the entertainment.

That guy really takes the cake. I found his blog at the time all the "insider" rumors started to come up that the PS4 would overheat after 30 minutes and several other fake rumors. While looking for the sources of those rumors it always led me to his blog. I`m not sure if he is really that delusional or if he is just some paid MS guy to spout all those "facts" like the Xbox One being 2-3 times more powerful than the PS4. The console has hidden hardware power that not even the game developers know about and he didn`t mind spending time on compiling a list of all the PS4 failures.

And it`s not only the stuff he posts but also the comments his "followers" make. Those include as example comments that MS should sue Eurogamer for slander because they "make" multiplatform games look better on the PS4.

His latest blog entry is also rather amusing as he found out why the Xbox One will not outsell the PS4 this year and why you can still find them in stores. It`s all the fault of the Sony Defense Force and gaming media who is fully biased towards Sony while Sony is spreading lies like the PS4 being more powerful.

If he would spent half of the time on Xbox One news of what he spends on trying to make the PS4 look bad, he could actually create some positive PR for the console. As it stands he is just making things up and spends all of his time to talk bad about the PS4 or comes up with fake positive Xbox One news. The Xbox One has certainly real positive points so I`m not sure why he spends time on talking about fake positive points.

I kind of prefer the PlayStation consoles, but I also have an original Xbox still working from launch and a 360 (obviously not the launch version anymore) and get an Xbox One at some point in the future if the circumstances are right. Every person always prefers one console over another, but that guy is giving fans of consoles a bad name. In this case he is giving fans of the Xbox One a bad name, luckily he only stands for a small gamer minority that exist on every platform.

Not sure if I should feel sorry for the guy or not, but for the moment I certainly will laugh at him while reading all those great made up stories. His wild fantasies would put Tolkien to shame, he should really use his imagination to write fantasy books. I certainly want what he is smoking, because that stuff must be gooooooood.

Even though I agree with the overall point of this post, I feel it's a bit unprofessional of the admins in charge of N4G to openly allow what is basically a huge personal attack on another human being.

I've heard a lot about the individual in question and from what I hear, the above document of the contents of his blog seem correct (I have not visited or read myself) but a huge post like this slagging off a guy with a blog on a DIFFERENT site seems a bit over the top? Just don't read it if it's that ridiculous surely. The guy is entitled to set up his own blog and I think it's more morally correct for you to post this there rather than here. imo.

I think you're giving the guy waaaay too much credit here by dedicating a whole blog after him, but in another sense I visit his blog on the reg to read the blog updates and the fake insider posts not to mention the clueless following that he's amassed, so I'm glad more people can share the joy.

For further reading of this subject you're welcome to google and follow: Landsharkk on IGN, marcofdeath(or any variation, is marcberry on the journal site)on practically any gaming forum, including n4g and Gametrailers, and last but not least 'lantern(/tard)' who only resides on gametrailers I think. There's also an inconsistent one call redavuts, who some times pops up to copypasta most of Mistecteam's 'findings' and immense FUD. Mistercteam and Misterx, including marcodeath have all been banned from such tech websites such as beyond3d and anandtech for major BS spouting.

I found his blog way before the whole rumour that the XB1 was going to be GCN 2.0 with kaveri chip and that all led up to the hotchips disappointment. Ever since then his 'insider(they are the same person btw...if you hadn't cottoned on' has pushed back dates and dates to reveal the truth at which time the internet and 'GAF' will burn. LOL.

My question is, is how did MisterXMedia get any sort of credibility to begin with? I mean I see his name often come up as the source when I see certain people comment with "rumors" or "facts", but for the life of me, based on what I've read from him, and from what people say about him, he seems to be just a massive troll, and not any sort of reliable source of anything factual.

If I made a blog, and started making wild claims saying I had "inside sources", I would be ignored outright, as would most everyone here, and as we do with most commenters on this forum who do so already. So where did this guy become someone worth listening to.

At what point do his followers, and the rest of the internet just ignore him like they do with all the other trolls out there? I can't seriously believe that any one person is so delusional that they would post the kinds of things he does constantly and consistently without being a deliberate troll just to see how far he can incite people into anger.

If you look at the archive there wasn`t much movement until the beginning of this year when we knew that Sony has a conference planned.

Looking at posts from Jannuary they are even funnier.

That was a good one yes and the claim yesterday that chipworks altered the pictures of the APU because they are paid off by Sony and had to make sure that they don`t show the "secret sauce" of the chip to make the Xbox One look weaker.

IP tracing is the reason why I never called him out on the lies posted just in case he would work for MS or has contact to them, because that wouldn`t be a good idea to do with the ability to trace the IP.
