Grab Your Weapons Sony Snipers. It's Time For War

As you already know, Sony Computer Entertainment has underwent massive reconstruction to the once impenetrable PlayStation® Network. This code red alert has left over 70 million gamers across the world from indulging in gaming nirvana.

There are many of you who feel the need to direct your anger towards Sony Computer Entertainment and seek compensation, apologies and the like. Dark Sniper is here to remind all of you that the root of the blame should be directed towards the hackers who created this problem.

Before placing blame on the company who's working tirelessly to rectify the problem, please take a second to look at the facts. George Hotz(Geohot) revealed the root keys that gives anyone in the general public access to the PlayStation®3 Home Entertainment Terminal. Thus making him the catalyst for the recent attacks. Sony Computer Entertainment rightfully did their due diligence and pursued legal action against Geohot in order to ensure the security of the 70 million PSN subscribers across the globe.

After the legal battle was settled, George Hotz publicly declared his fight against Sony would still continue by encouraging all hackers across the nation to boycott any products that are endorsed by Sony Computer Entertainment. This began the birth of "Anonymous". A group of hackers whose sole intent is to ruin SCE in any shape, form or fashion.

Instantly, Anonymous declared war against Sony. Stating that their biggest attack would strike Sony in ways never thought imaginable. Days later, PlayStation® Network is suspended due to fraudulent activities from outsiders.

We are at a civil war amongst the World Wide Web. Against those who claim to fight for their "freedom" while the gamer's freedom has been stripped away. It goes without Dark Sniper saying that Anonymous must be eliminated at all costs and by any means necessary, even if it means by death or dishonor.

Dark Sniper has no issues with those who would like to freely explore the sheer technological prowess of PlayStation®3. What he does have a problem with is those who devote their lives to ruining the honest consumer who wants nothing more than to enjoy the PlayStation Nation amongst likeminded gamers.

Enough is enough, we must take a stand. Once the "Anonymous" identities are revealed, we shall bring hellfire and brimstone to their lives and beat them down to a bloody pulp. These inconsiderate dolts will bow before the mercy of Sony and we will rightfully take back what's ours.

Dark Sniper will be out in the frontline doing his job and will crack as many heads as possible. He calls upon his Sony Snipers as we engage war against the hackers who have tried to ruin our daily lives.

We shall egg their houses and throw toilet paper over their roofs. FOR THE EMPIRE!

JD_Shadow4752d ago

Okay, you do that.

The rest of us will do what we SHOULD be doing: putting blame on BOTH parties for being complete asshats and negligent douchebags.

Godmars2904752d ago

Okay, explain to me how after 5 years is Sony equally at fault for being hacked? How are they an asshat?

mrv3214752d ago

No, I see what your saying... but... it's just so stupid. Sony sued hackers for hacking their device allowing for piracy and a potential for a great deal of lost revenue and jobs if someone steals from a bank then the robbers are jerks. This is the first time they where hacked server side, hardly negligent, I mean there's a lot Sony will learn from.

And the worst thing is that this site actually isn't that much less reasonable than the other one.

Ruggadagod4752d ago

i'll continue to play my ps3 and enjoy it.

loveassassin134752d ago

Yes, everyone will rage, while I sit here and wait for Sony to fix the problem which, as he pointed out, wasn't there fault in the first place! Sony doesn't owe you guys anything in forms of compensation, the only reason you should get compensation is if you play one of the MMOs or if you have that premium PSN membership, if neither of those are the case; STOP COMPLAINING YOU WHINY LITTLE KIDS AND WAIT FOR THE *FREE* SERVICE TO BE BACK ONLINE.

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

Rumored Gears of War Collection tops my Xbox Games Showcase wishlist

The long-rumored Gears of War collection is looking ripe for a 2024 release, and a possible Xbox showcase reveal alongside Gears 6 could not be more perfect.

Even though the games are easily available on Game Pass, a remaster of the original titles would be cool. I believe only the first got that treatment back in the Xbox One's days. As for Gears 6, honestly, it's not that Gears 4 and 5 are bad, far from it. But at this point, I feel just like Halo, it could really take its time, 4 years is already a lot but I feel a couple more would do well for this series.

Inverno47m ago

Maybe if they're given the same treatment as the MCC. I wouldn't buy it cause I've never liked the series, but I do really like collections when they have all games, and touch up the old ones.

I still don't understand why anybody would want this over a new game. I'll be pretty annoyed if it comes before Gears6 .
