For information on the "20 Days of..." contest, please see https://n4g.com/user/blogpo...

Congratulations to ThePsychoGamer, our seventeenth day winner.

On the eighteenth day, the question we have for you is "What was the worst bit of gaming news for you in 2018?"

"The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment..."

for me it was sony not attending e3 2019.. seriously they're the highlight of the show for me

I think I agree with this. What person who is seriously into gaming doesn't like E3? I look forward to it every year, and Sony pulling out of the event leaves a massive hole. I don't think it would bother me so much if we had a few other publishers around to show stuff off. EA and Bathesda bore me to death, you never know what you are going to get with Microsoft, Ubisoft and the PC gaming show, it could be good or bad, Nintendo just have a Nintendo Direct video, Sony are usually great.

My interest in E3 next year is really low at this point.

For me that PSN plus is not doing ps3 or Vita games anymore and now it will be just 2 games a month. I still play my ps3 and vita and feel this is a bit of a kick in the nuts but I know times move on.

The scandal around Telltale Games was quite bad. With hints of insiders well aware of the closure coming and using that info for insider trading, 90% of the staff dropped without their compensation and pay. Even their working conditions were known to be appalling. It was probably the worst thing to come from gaming this year.

Also Stranded Deep was due to release roughly a day after the announcement and that got dropped. I was really looking forward to it too

Telltale going down and all their employees being let go without warning.

Probably kingdom hearts 3 delay.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication Review - Cinematically Haunting - Games Horizon

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication was incredibly scary, and would be considered a cinematic horror because of how well everything is done visually. There are many faults with it, but at least it's very scary.

If only the game wasn't so barebones. Out of the super fun core gameplay, the game is a barren land. They better make much easier "major orders", because the player base has mostly moved on.
