The State of the 3DS, 2 years later‏.

The 3DS is approaching its 2 year anniversary on March 27. In anticipation, I felt that I should speak on the state of the hand held 2 years later.

When the 3DS first started it showed promise of a hand held that can truly show off great games. After the launch time period 3DS had a huge hurdle, the high price and lack of compelling games created a perception that showed Nintendo was going to have an uphill battle. We all know content is what drives hardware sales and the 3DS had its fare share of post launch issues. Something changed within Nintendo, a few months after, they decided to lower the price and give gamer's what they wanted the most, games. Nintendo has given us some of the best games seen on a portable. Games like Super Mario Land, Zelda Ocarina of time, Starfox, Street Fighter IV, Resident Evil Revelations, Kid Icarus, Heroes of Ruin, Kingdom Hearts, Code of Princess and many others have showcased that Nintendo is definitely a leader in handhelds for a reason. Fast forward to 2013 and the 3DS is off to a fantastic start. For a hand held device competing with phones, tablets and the PSVita you can tell 3DS is truly flourishing. In the last 2 months and the last 2 Nintendo direct's, yes 2(Including Japan'a briefing on Thursday, February 21st ). Nintendo has managed to showcase some truly incredible games. They have also provided a list of games coming in the first 3 quarters and beyond. Please read below.

Note- Many of these games are out already.

This impressive lineup is just the beginning of what Nintendo has shown us. There are still reports of many Japanese games being converted for american audiences and E3 is going to be another great time to showcase more games. I personally would like to see Nintendo bring to america Ex Troopers (The game has caught my attention since last year). What do you gamers think about Nintendo in 2013?

It's amazing just how much this system managed to turn itself around. From "doomed flop" to roaring success. Hopefully the Wii U can do a similar turn-around from its January sales. Honestly I think Nintendo will be fine this year. They did things without a great deal of planning and their new platforms' initial performance suffered a bit, but in the long run I think they will be just fine.

I think it's quite amazing also. Had one since launch and as much as I've tried to love it, there's just nothing on it for me at the moment. Whenever I think there's something I'm going to like it just doesn't live up to my expectations.

I loved the original DS, imported one from japan on launch and did the same with the DSlite. I just don't feel any quality with my 3DS or its software. Sold pretty much my whole 3DS collection apart from Ocorina 3D, and I don't miss any of the games at all.

Yea 3DS has an amazing line up this year. Makes me wonder what Nintednos gonna have in 2014. Cause they're using some big guns already.

Hypercharge Unboxed Dev Saddened By Claims It'll Be 'Dead' Without Xbox Game Pass

One of the big Xbox releases heading our way in May 2024 is the long-awaited Hypercharge Unboxed, which is finally bringing its "first and third-person shooter action figure game" to Xbox consoles on Friday, May 31st.

Sadly, ahead of launch, the game's official Twitter (or "X") account has been highlighting the "trolls" who are claiming that because it's not launching on Game Pass, Hypercharge Unboxed is already set up for failure on Xbox.

It's horrible what people will say, but the truth might be harsh. There is a good chance it might not do well on Xbox if it's not on GamePass. There is a strong possibility that is the case. We'll see.

When it launches on Playstation in the future you can rest assured it will sell much better. The devs have confirmed it's coming to Playstation in the future.

"It is built in the Unreal Engine 4. The game was released on the Nintendo eShop on January 31, 2020 and on Steam on April 27, 2020. The development of Hypercharge: Unboxed for the Xbox platform was officially announced on July 16, 2022, with the developers also confirming future support for the PlayStation."

I remember having this on my radar years ago for the Switch but never pulled the trigger on it. Crazy it's still not on PlayStation yet.

huh?
it could literally be anything at this point.
its not the room itself, its how they handle the interior design of the room.

I think it depends more on the voice actors, characters and the feature in the room. It could be in an office for all I care.
