TCMFGames discusses the possibility of Treyarch taking the Call of Duty series back to the World War era!
TNS: "Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut on PC is one of the best ports we've seen in recent years from one of the best action-adventure games ever."
Games Asylum: "With the video game market stalling, publishers have finally realised that it’s beneficial to release their games on as many platforms as possible. Microsoft made headlines with multiplatform announcements earlier this year, and Square-Enix has plans to cast their nets wider too. Yet, the allure is still there for publishers to release games on Apple Arcade first. It’s easy to see why, with development costs being on the lower end of the scale, and Apple clearly incentivising with their subscription model. One upshot is when games finally make the jump from Apple Arcade to consoles, they’ve already received several updates. Horizon Chase 2 is a good example of this, just as polished as a car off the showroom floor. Visually, at least."
Ahead of the release of Warzone Season 4, it has been announced that the lobby size is set to increase for the first time since 2023.
World at War II, this stuff writes itself! Would love too see this happen. I would also love to see them bring the sci-fi edge of Zombies into the mix. Teleporters and wander wuffle in mp matches. Mystery boxes and wall buys replace loadouts. Mystery box would cost kill streaks coupled with the risk of an opponent killing you and taking your box prize. A zombie horde kill streak that would unleash a zombie horde that attacks everyone on the map. Of couse this could all be an optional mode as to not piss off the purest.
I don't think it has to go back to world war 1 or 2, I believe they need to get away from the whole special ops feel and get back to being an outstanding regular soldier who's part of a platoon fight a war head on against the odds. Modern warfare felt like that.
Some of my most intense gaming experiences are from cod 2, when you're wondering if you're alone on the second story of an old building, trying to distinguish between the sounds of actual in game gunfire and the erie relentless background noise gunfire, when you hear someone tip toeing up the stairs 😶
The melee combat was hard too! Pistol whipping took like 3 hits
Yea after they saw the response to Infinate Warefare vs BF1, I bet they wanna go back to WW2.
