"WAIT B3YOND". thats jus a childish comment expected from a fanboy. i like the ps3 and prefer it to the 360 but i dont go slaggin the 360 off. if you feel like puttin something right then at least use facts and leave the fanboy comments out of it. and bloodmask i wouldnt expect anything less from you. do you actually pride yourself on tryin to give the ps3 as much bad press as possible. what effect do you think you and other people with have by posting stuff like this. that goes for ps fanboys to. do you think you can change the way the next gen pans out. i fed up of twisted facts and twisted stories. for example "wii success forces sony to sell chip factory" or something like that. i mean wtf. and then you got article about how ps3 is gonna stomp over the 360 come christmas. i really do like coming on here and readin comments but people like bloodmask (and whatever other name he goes by) and nasim have always got one thing on there mind and thats to make the other console look bad. il support sony but theres more respectable ways to go about it why cant everybody do the same and make N4G a better place. roof i think you should jus stop it there. sony could bring out a whole new ps3 slim tomorrow with all the inside made smaller and reduced and it will still be a ps3. sony said that the ps3 is future proof, not that the parts inside are. View

will ive seen your comments around here and you anti ps3. if you look at the face of the caracters they look more realistic on ps3. if you look at the smoke in the explosion it looks more realistic on the ps3. but i dont think that lost planet pushes the limit of either console so sayin its more realistic doesnt say that the ps3 is a better console. even thou i think the ps3 is more powerful comparing these games doesnt prove it. the ps3 version probably will be only slightly better but not by much. and i probably buy this game coz i loved the online demo that was on the 360. so i might get it even thou its jus for the online View

ps3 is a dedicated games player. more so than the 360. sony decided to make there games on blu ray coz its the next logical step up. 360 is gonna suffer with lack of space in the near future coz games cant be multi disk. and i can bet my gran that the xbox 720 is gonna be using blu ray games coz hd dvd will be dead. i agree sony is pushing blu ray through the ps3 but they havent taken there eye off the ball for the gaming side of the ps3. if you think the xbox is a dedicated games player then my is almost the good game fps games. there isnt a varied library and thats where the ps3 is gonna be better. if you cant see that blu ray is important for the next gen then you cant see the bigger picture. View

bc isnt important anymore because the ps3 as a strong line up and who want to play on last gen games when you got the current gen console. did anybody play on ps1 games on the ps2? and if you buy a ps3 youre ps2 aint magically gonna disapear. the fact is anybody trashin the 40g for that are tryin to give sony bad press again. end of story

@gamesisfornerds. youre in the small minority. why should sony cater for you. people want a cheap console so there giving it them. most people who are gonna buy a ps3 will have a ps2. if they dont have a ps2 then there more than likely dont care about ps2 games View

ok now lets all be realistic here. halo 3 was top for a week, it sold loads so there is always gonna be a dip in the second week. football is big here and fifa is one of the biggest football games so it was always gonna struggle against fifa being a single format game with a small console base compared to the ps2, wii, 360 and ps3 combined. i kno the ps2 fifa outsold it but the ps2 as a large install base. what im more intrested in is to see how many consoles that halo shifted. first of all wifi is important as part sonys grand plan. thats connectivity to your psp. also the memory card slot are great. is so easy to get stuff onto you ps3 like takin the memory card out you digital camera or mobile phone and transfer vids and pix which is greta and will be handy for when home comes out. plus you can change you cd's to mp3 and transfer them to the memory card and you'll have music on your phone. or you can transfer music to and from your mp3 player. the memory card slots are very useful for transferin big file from your comp to your mates ps3 or even pc. i was a doubter of the memory card slots but they are so useful. and as for the bc. its not needed. how many ps1 games did people play on the ps2. i bet not many. and as for blu ray. its jus not space it also quicker loadin times and yes you do need space. you might be able to make huge games on a dvd but there will be compromises. and as for the discontinued stock. it will be jus the 60g that'll be discountinued in th eu and the 60g and 20g in the us. but what differance does that make. sony can make any sku they want. its still a ps3 and if its a 40g £300 ps3 then all the better. why should sony be predictable. if there not predictable then the competition will have a harder time gettin one over the ps3. they will bring out another sku after the 60g runs out. the reason aint gonna tell you is because why would they reveal there plan to competitors so they can plan on how to countereact. this is why sony denies a lot of things when the are asked and it turns out its true. there plan on marketing the ps3 is a lot more important to keep under wraps. im pretty sure hd hvd as already lost. there may be a major comeback but even if the ps3 as an impact or not, if things stay as they are then hd dvd is gonna die. but i agree with masterg. 1 more ps3 sold is one potential buyer of a blu ray movie. can people remember what the ps2 did for dvd sales?? ps2 gave dvd sales a major boost. so who is to say it wont wont boost blu ray sales??
