3 CE's is a smart move, just ebay the CE Warhammer Online and you'll see they are going to be a hot item for Warhammer buffs. I might pick up a couple more when I go get mine...I know they won't be sold out here in my area. :P View

Hey guys, I'm the man behind the black and white. Like I said, I played WoW. I've done the endgame WoW and just a few minutes into Warhammer and you forget about WoW really fast. It's just fun, it reminds me so much of the old school Warcraft. I can see WAR taking 50% or even more of WoW's current subscription base.

Hell...this time next year I'll probably be comparing some other game to Warhammer, the top MMO. View

I hope that sony's next attempt has better software support for developers. Sony needs to dive head first into their own machine and setup a nice set of developing tools for 1st and 3rd parties. I'm sure they are already focusing on this, so maybe I'll pickup the ps4!! :P View

I think Too Human would make a better PC game, if it allowed mods and such. It's just too much of a niche game right now and sadly, it's not my niche. :( View

My guess is that if you focused on one player every year, of course you'll see injuries and poor play. There is no "madden curse" just a crappy football game that singles out someone on the cover. Favre isn't a packer anymore and he's going to have another great season as a Jet. View

LBP would make a good PC game and the level making interface could mesh easier. I would check it out for a PC title. :P View

that depends alot on the contract that the devs sign. They might have to sign something silly like 6 months of 12 months exclusive and they get less profit for the 360 version. Sony would be all about sabotaging the 360 version if they publish it. View

Thing is, if sony publishes the game...it won't come to the 360. Or, it could be the first time a Sony/MS published game ended up on the competition. Ubisoft, Activision or EA would be smart to pickup this title and publish it. Quick and easy money. :P View

Crackdown was a game I bought for the free halo and ended up loving it. I still own it and someday I'll go back and find all the orbs. :P View

Good Stuff
Does anyone know for sure if Sony still holds the license on the Ghostbusters IP ? View

Another rental...
Another single player game that is a "play once game" ...

I'll rent this and save my money for GTA4, Saint's Row 2 and Fable 2. :P View

To jinxstar
Yeah I've played the other games. (This was my article btw)

I would agree that I feel the game is too carebear...I like to call it candyland. Now to say that noone is using wow's "ideas" is maybe a touch too far. Since you have played DAOC or any other old school game, you'd know that the interfaces in those games took months to master. I went back to DAOC recently and it was just too outdated for me to get into again.

So they are taking the best of what Blizzard has done, the interface and ability to get in and go...and attaching that to their game content and ideas. There's definitely things I dislike about their interface, but the basic moving and navigation will become the standard for MMO's.

I guess I'll see you in AoC or WAR. :P View

I agree with you there. :P I think new ideas should be the leading factor of the new content. WoW had so many chances to do so much...I admit I've enjoyed the game. But there is always that question...

Wouldn't it be cool if you could do this?? Just seems like there isn't enough detail in the game. Like AoC and Warhammer are in excellent positions now. They are expanding on the simple pvp systems in place in Warcraft and taking it to the next level. Millions (yes millions) of players will enjoy the more detailed experience offered. Sadly, I just don't Blizzard even cares. View

Blizzard should lookout
Reading the AoC FAQ's they released recently...Blizzard needs to do something and do it fast. Reading their information makes me want to play there game right now.

Guild/player built cities, player/guild controlled towers, siege weapons for attacking player cities, full pvp servers and a new combat system that lets you attack and defend in real time.

Not to mention it's rated M, decapitations and gore will set a more realistic stage. And this isn't even a game I'm all that interested in... View

Lot's of people are reading this that new content is bad....that's not what was said. Was said that OLD content is not bad. How much of our 15/month is used to store the data for instances and zones that are never used ?? :P View

Yeah the idea is that once people get attracted to warcraft, what happens when they get bored and tired?? New games like age of conan and warhammer are not going to be hurt by this...but helped. :P View

UO was first

WoW is 4 years

UO started in 97, it's now roughly 10 years later. Back then, UO had just over 100k subscribers and it was a big deal. :P View

I think you misread or misunderstood. :P Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's cool. You'll see what I mean later this year when the expansion hits.

New content is great!! I love the new stuff, but I also loved the old stuff. Places like MC, BWL, AQ20/40, Naxx....all gone. :P (naxx is making a reappearance in the expansion) Would of been cool if they could have done that with all of the instances. View

I probably have saved money in the long run. :P But, sometimes, those companies lose sight of the game they are making and just see $$$ View
