This is from the next-gen interview with MS Peter Moore:

Moore insists that the billion-dollar figure is “all that we should worry about.”

“We’re not going to say to the world what issues we have.”

No word on design changes to the Xbox 360 hardware, either. Moore finds no reason to go “full open kimono on this stuff.” What we do know is that Microsoft found that failures were caused by a design issue, not a manufacturing issue, and the company had to “engineer around” the problem. Our curiosity continues, and according to Moore, is apparently unwarranted. View

I'll agree that this PS3 SKU thing is a bit confusing, but why the hell is he asking "What are you gonna do with all that storage?" Didn't Microsoft just release the 360 Elite? With 120Gb of space? Does he not know about Sony's plans for downloading movies? How can he criticize Sony for having multiple SKUs when Microsoft themselves have 3 SKUs? Isn't the Elite their the 3rd SKU?
He doesn't understand what Sony's online strategy is going to be? Has he heard of Home? I understand that Moore has a lot to do and think about, and it's easy to miss things here or there (and that he probably did, which is understandable), but he needs to stop criticizing things for being confusing when he hasn't fully looked into those things himself.
It's better to say "I'm not going to comment on that because I haven't fully looked into it" rather than "I'm going to criticize it for being too confusing" while ignoring the very real possibility (or, in this case, certainty) that explanations are out there. View

For people who support Sony these are great days. The PS3 games are really starting to shine and there are many many great games coming out.

I guess after all the sh!t that PS3 owners have had to take from many XBox supporters the last 8 months, it's now nice to see that the PS3 is coming through and getting lot's of awsome exclusives. I guess it's some kind of payback time now that the PS3 is enjoying such good days.

This will die out eventually. when all the games for the PS3 and X360 start to hit the stores, people will start playing games again instead of spamming message boards. View

Halo is more of a game for a younger audience, hance the vivid bright colours.

Killzone has a much darker dirtier look that I really like.

Halo is Rainbow Islands, while Killzone is Fight Club.

Both great. View

This is the worst BS ever.

The PS3 has parenting control that is very easy to set. Parent buys console, parent activates parenting control with password, voila.

That a parent isn't allowed to buy it for it kids beacaus of the Resistance bundle is the worst crack of sh!t I ever heard. Coming from an X360 site ofc, those morons do everything to put down the PS3. They're afraid now. View

Nice interview. He says the PS3 version looks fantastic compared to the X360 version. That's good to know. Also he says the games supports 7.1 uncompressed audio. Looking damn good I must say.

This has been a great week for the PS3 and from here it only will get stronger!! PS3 power starting to show :o) View

PlayStation brand is really strong in Europe.
There are many many people that are happy with their PS2 for now and are planning on getting the PS3 when it becomes more affordable and the games start to hit.

Generally Mirosoft doesn't have the best of reputation in Europe and amongst many they're not even associated with games consoles.

My guess is that PS3 will see a great boost in 2008, at least in the European market. View
