this is big news for us Nintendo fanboys cause we like games like this.. sure its no FORZA but i don't wanna play FORZA.. i wanna play MARIO KART.. and its a pretty established franchise.. i mean mario kart SNES, MARIO KART 64, MARIO KART ADVANCED, MARIO KART DOUBLE DASH GC, MARIO KART DS (best yet) and now MARIO KART WII.. so we knew it was coming but who knew it was so soon.. i'm happy.. and if ur not.. then too bad.. go deal with it.. Just get a WII and don't worry about MGS.. its that simple..

well all i can say is my MOM actually picked up the WII.. and thats scary.. though its to play BUST A MOVE and shes not entirely sure how to change game disks but shes getting there..

its that she just points at the screen and waves left and right and presses A to shoot the bubbles..

my girlfriend likes the game as well for its simplicity.

and everyone at my x-mas party did try the wii to be honest and we all had fun. WII SPORTS and BOMBERMAN dominated the day... 5 PLAYER bomberman is a blast.. since we all used to play bomberman on the SNES a back in the day.

so yeah WII is pretty casual but its okay.. its getting some 'hardcore' games..

also i think its a good idea for EA to add the CASUAL modes to games.. as well as advanced mode. So you can play your Madden or FIFA like u normally would or u can play in casual mode which sounds like all u would be doing is passing and shooting but not actually in full control of the player (talking about FIFA) and you know that is interactive and someone new to gaming can easily pick that up and may eventually want to move onto playing in ADVANCED MODE.. ya know what i mean.. looks like a fun party game.. and c'mon its been like over 10 years that we've been waiting for MARIO VS SONIC... back in NES and GENSIS DAYS.. its been a long time coming..

isn't the current WII DVD drive 'backwards' as in the disk spins the wrong way?

in that case it may not be just software..

i would like it cause then i could use my WII to watch DVDs once in a while since i don't have a dedicated DVD player in my room but i got a PC DVD RW so its good..

like if it was there i would use it now and then but its not something i NEED cause there are like 5 DVD players in my house.. cept not in my room lol View

if its a peice of cake then why is it so delayed? a launch game delayed that long.. there must be some nice polishing going on.. or 1 dev took a vacation and forgot to hand in his part (LOL)

i don't know.. seems like it has a long way to go.. and even with liquid it would still have some impact shock if dropped.. and what if it leaks.. then we get into another mess..

and with flash memory reaching huge sizes it really makes u wonder why anyone would want a harddisk in their cell phone? (laptop is okay but smartphones?) plus harddisks draw more power then flash memory so u loose battery life..

looks pretty good and the guys at IGN are praising this game on controls and how fun it is as well as challenging.. i dunno if its my cup of tea but i will definitly rent this one View

MS never had a statement for MH2 cause its not announced for XBOX.. but its in their policy..

also NINTENDO as a DEV does not make extremely violent games.. cause they wanna make money on the WHOLE market.. plz tell me that GALAXY doesn't appeal to EVERYONE under the sun.. i mean a few will not like it but if ur 8 u can have fun with it and same if ur 28... thats nintendo's way of doing things.. METROID is a lil more mature but anyone can play it really..

but they never seemed to me to not want M games on their system.. sure there was the MK issue where they sensored that but that was SNES.. LONG TIME AGO... now its all pretty much fair game.. KILLER7.. RE4 (was GC only) those are some not so family friendly games.. so u have variety and the variety will carry to WII.. i mean NO MORE HEROS boasts about being more violent then MH2.. but i guess cause it looks kinda cell shaded it may pass the AO rating.. and i doubt it has a adult movie theater level where a adult movie plays in the background (i read that on 1 of the MH2 reviews..i think from CVG or 1UP)

and even if Nintendo allowed MH2 to be released only the hardcore of the hardcore would get it since u can't get it ANYWHERE pretty much that is mainstream.. so it was be a horrible buisiness move for R* however then they could have 2 version where 1 is AO and a sensored version for the retail market.

hey for me anything that can run anything as good as HL2 is all i need.. graphics wise and we know the WII can do it.. anything over is EXTRA..

as for games i think REDSTEEL was pretty hardcore (though not AAA but it was pretty good at launch) and ZELDA was awsome for me.. it was the first one i wanted to pick up since ORCARINA OF TIME.

i have elebits and its nowhere near casual.. as well as GODFATHER (played if first time.. i waited and refused to play it on PC because i wanted wii controls and u know what.. even my friend who played it on the PC and has it for the PS3 was like.. THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER WITH THESE CONTROLS) and i know its an old game but right now i'm trying to finish SCARFACE and again i never played it on PC or XBOX but i am loving it on the wii.. graphics are there (GOOD ENOUGH) and the controls are pretty sweet.. especially aiming..

as for casual games i got BUST A MOVE.. and RAYMAN.. plus my GC collection..

now if u really wanted to argue games u can go the PS3 route and be like.. "there may not be too many PS3 games but we support over 250 PS2 games which u can play on our console" (this was said on one of the new IGN podcasts.. then they were like "DUDE IF U WANNA PLAY PS2 GAMES BUY A PS2.. ITS CHEAP!" well the wii is backwards compatible with ALL GC games that i know of.. never heard of problems in that department.

and METROID and GALAXY plus BW2 and SMASH are pretty hardcore games and ONLY FOR NINTENDO..

lets face it when WII came out everyone (including me even though i stood in line on November 29th to get one launch day) thought it was gonna be GC2 and i pretty much bought it for SMASH BROS. but now i see there is support coming..

and the wii had a pretty good LAUNCH line up.. definitly beat the GC which had what.. LUIGI'S MANSION? it was a fun game but c'mon.. View

and this article is pretty weak.. a lot of those 360/PS3 games we knew about for quite a while.. so no way something thats more then 1/2 done is gonna get dropped..

so of the wii games on the list we only knew about for a few months.. showing that kewlkat007 is right.. its most likely easier to develope for the wii.. so shifting even 1/4 of ur PS360 resourses to wii can be a significant boost to the wii in terms of games... View

i bought the wii cause i can afford it and for a lil while i thought it was the GC2 (basically doomed to not be supported by 3rd parties) but thats all changing now and the outlook is good :-)

from what i'm seeing the PS3 is the new GC.. its a powerhouse but no software will hurt it..

lets face it.. if PS3 was 250 i woulda bought that probably.. but its not 250.. so i went for the wii.. for the money it delivers FUN TIME... View
