I do not understand how this article was approved with such a title as it implies complete bias. The PlayStation 3 console cannot be judged 8 months into it's lifetime whilst it is clear for everyone to see that the train has yet to be fed the fuel for it's race.

I know the article itself titled this, and that alone takes alot off it's credibility meter, but knowing the combativenesses nature of some members on this website it would have been wise to add quotes to the title or just have noted that you changed it for the sake of argument.

Fantastic..
News for 360 owners. Despite Phil Harrison suggesting the PS3 would get some sort of extra content, Rockstar have now pretty much confirmed the 360 version will be the most "complete" in regards to the content.

Whether or you not you own the machine, you can't dispute how joyful this announcement will be to the "Jump In" camp.

Let's just hope Microsoft charge this downloadable content at a reasonable price. View

If they removed the WiFi and such, then what would have been the point of stopping the 20GB SKU?

They stopped that because it wasn't selling; so I'm confused by the logic that Sony will produce another similar SKU that is stripped down, something the consumer rejected first time round. View

I assure you,
Microsoft - as Shane Kim has said - are very aware of the popularity of the PlayStation brand, and if the PlayStation 3 were to be priced at this figure before 2008, and even with a rumoured $50 price drop occurring for the Xbox 360, that difference alone will not be enough to sway that large fanbase from buying a PlayStation 3.

According to Kim, this "thankfully" hasn't happened yet and if it does, I just cannot see it being feasible for Microsoft to drop the price of their console down to $299. They are quite limited in regards to this, they can't keep going down on price - something Sony can.

But regardless of what happens, 2008 will be pivotal and in my opinion, the forecast then will determine who wins this console war.
