The concept of the game was around for 4 years but it didnt start work on the PS3 much later than that. They didn't even have the specifications of the PS3 when they started to develop for it specifically, so if they did a sequel, it would take half that duration. View

Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted are all paid for. The cash is in my account and especially reserved for those titles. From what I have seen, they're already must-buys and I personally will not be influenced by 7's.

We'll see what comes our way for 2008, but whatever it is, it better be bloody sensational I tell ya because the look on my face is the same as my avatar!

P.S. Warhawk is a great game. Please ignore the stupid bias ignorant deviant evil lying fishy bad reviews of that game. :) View

"I personally think its selective sight. The majority of the games that are getting good reviews are completely over looked or fore shadowed by the bad reviews. If Lair or War Hawk received good reviews, the media would find something else to nit pick about.Its funny because a lot of the things that are causing the low scores on the PS3 are present on the other consoles games and are being over looked.

A good example would be Lairs lack of Multi-Player and Motion Sensitivity controls, but yet any game on the wii is good because of its controls and is extremely innovative and Bio-Shock is missing MP as well, but it's still receiving perfect scores.

WarHawk is an online only game and its score is being drug down by that fact, But in all honesty, its replay value should exceed that of just about any game as its experience stems solely from the online experience and missing SP is no different than Missing MP. Not to mention that some of the best PC games are online only. I cant say its entirely due to bias, but I think its due to Sony being held to a higher standard." View

Look at this from context. We've waited a long time for this wave of titles to come out, and although 7 is not a bad score, its also not a "great" score for a very expensive machine.

People will look at the scores of recent games on the 360, a cheaper console, and for the general populace, it will be hard to justify to them to get a PS3 despite our own personal opinions of the games, which dont really matter in comparison to professional reviews. View

Regardless of our own opinions and feelings towards the recently rated games - the opinions that really matter, or atleast have any impact are from those connected to the industry such as these sites; 1UP, IGN, Gamespot etc and magazines.

Monitoring message boards and I've witnessed two things.

1. Those who already own a PS3 are either confused or angry due to the undeserved low rating reviews for some of the touted Sony titles. Naturally they either dismiss it or challenge the credibility of the review(er).

2. Non-PS3 owners either laugh or mock the reviews (360 owners), but more importantly, some of those who expressed interest in the PlayStation 3 were disappointed with the reviews, signalling that perhaps their anticipation or even hard cash depended on glowing reviews for the much waited games that would have seemingly justified the purchase.

The low scores are not helping. The waiting is coming to an end and it seems that the Media - either sincerely or more deviantly - are not impressed to the level we were all expecting to be. In essence, these scores are hurting the platform especially when Microsoft's console is getting good ratings in regards to some of its titles such as the most recent Bioshock; perfect scores. And yet games that have been solely developed for the PlayStation 3, years in the works, can't even seem to satisfy the thirst of the professionals who rubber stamp it with a "Meh" sticker.

Multi-platform games are seemingly inferior on our console by default, and now our own 1st party games are not that impressive? How is this going to affect potential new owners of Sony's console? We all expected the games would justify the price, but if in the eyes of the industry they are not, then what on Earth will? View

According to them, the weakest aspect of the entire game was the gameplay which was the main reason for the 7. Well every footage I have seen, the short demo, and every other preview all speak positively about the gameplay as actually one of the best aspects.

I'll wait for another review - although my mind is made up. Heavenly Sword is a must-own. View

It's been said many times from developers that the architecture of the PC is not too dissimilar to the Xbox 360 and in fact the same teams can work on both. However, with the PS3 its an entirely different matter altogether and usually has a separate team working on that. I don't think it means they're investing a unique method that other developers aren't aware of.

Perhaps it just simply means there are different teams for development. One for 360/PC and one for the PS3 in where the latter, they are researching on how to fully utilise the technology; something Ubisoft and EA should be doing View

Never thought of that. But I think Microsoft would make a note to replace it with a new Halo console instead of sending them a refurbished white one. View

The videos I've seen, especially that gameplay during E3 - the game looks pretty darn fun in my opinion. So why all the negativity towards that aspect? We don't know much, but from what we do know there is no justification for calling it boring or dull. View

The moment this game was announced to be multi-platform, the source of interest (primarily the PlayStation camp), had dramatically dropped and if you look at all the news article tracking the progress of the game - the interest level is never above 200 degrees (unless when its comparing the consoles).

I don't know anyone who is getting this game. It's a shame. View

That's actually an interesting point. So far game-use or general random bad luck has caused the red lights, but how would the machine fair when recording e.g. HD television shows, and being left on in the main living room for hours for the family entertainment?

The Xbox 360 may be considered the lesser simply because of this default unreliability of the hardware I'm afraid. View

Wow I lose a Bubble and I get told to "shut the f*ck up?". Real mature. I just played the demo and the game, IMO, is a let down. I didn't enjoy it. To my knowledge, I was told it got low REVIEWS, meaning more than one bad score. If that is wrong, then my bad - but to lose bubbles and then get verbally abused? What is wrong with you people?
