Good stuff for ps3 only owners.

360 owners need'nt worry though, both consoles get exclusive content from third parties, on the N4G peding bit theres a game which was meant to be ps3 exclusive, but is now apparently on the 360 with extras.

Just like red alert 3 having more on the ps3.

Sniping

Is fun but it can ruin a game.

In games with large maps and good view point you always find noobs hiding in hard to see places picking everyone off. It just ruines the game for thos of us who dont like to camp.

The killcam is great though as it forces the snipers to play properly. A real sniper shoots, and then moves to a new position. And it also keeps the campers down.

I had a sniper kill me and so for laughs I killed him/her with a grenade launcher from a huge distance on thats map woth the plane.

Im sure that the grenade launcher is really easy to use this time. In COD4 I never bothered with it but in this game I love it to bits for clearing out choke points. Plus its great when you hit a building and glass goes everywhere. View

Ive got the game for the 360 and Ive played a few games online.

No lag issues whatsoever. The game seems to find good matches.

All Ive noticed are great guns, perks, killstreaks and brilliantly made maps. View

Its to help sell Bravias.

Im not sure but I wouldnt have thought that right now Bravia is probably suffering. many other TV makers are making TV's of similar quality for a much lesser price.

I got a bravia a couple years back for HD gaming but if i were getting a TV today Id get another brand, since for less money i could get better specs. View

Thats the problem.

With movies you just watch whats happening, but in vodeo games you are the person doing the killing, the acts of terrorism.

At the end of the day is the terrorist level worse than playing as a normal soilder? For most people her eon N4G yes since were not backing terrorists, were backing the UN.

But is th level over the line? well thats subjective. For some people this level may cross the line. If thats the case though then dont play the game becuase it would seem that the majourity of people think otherwise.

But yes you need to take into acount that a vdeo game is not like a movie. For those that doubt this just wait till heavy reain is released.

If you have the same great scripting in games like films, the fact that you actually play as the character should only heighten every emotion portrayed. View

It wont be long until games are just as accpeted as movies.

The average gamer age in the US is 35 which is about right since they would have been the people first exposed to proper games in early life.

As time goes on the kids of today, most of which play video games, will grow up to replace the polititians of today and when that happenes games will be seen as just another entertianment form. View

Yes but for starters the ps3 is $100 cheaper than that deal.

In america COD6 is something like $60 right?

So its already cheaper. Plus whilst you might not need wifi having it is nice, it means less wires everywhere, and since wirless is in its a good thing to have. Less clutter.

And the ps3 controllers charge straight from the ps3 so thats no bog deal.

Now if he wants a 360 because he likes the games more, or if his friends have one then thats fine.

But a better deal? Its more expensive and on top if that you have costs for live... Its not really much of a deal... View

Reading that the host seems to be a bit of a Douche.

Hes saying how kids could get hold of that. But that is not the video game industries fault, its parents.

The game is an 18, and the game is marketed to those of age 20-36, since the average gamer age is above 30.

If kids play it then the fault lies completely with the parents. Thats not debatable, its fact. Parents should monitor what their children play and if they dont then theyre being neglectful and so like I said, its 100% their fault.

And like the article said your an agent. I dont see the problem.

If this was done in bad taste then i would be agaisnt the level, but as i played the game I realised that it wasnt glorified at all.

In a way i think its sad that people hide away from this stuff. Terrorist action happens all the time, things like that level are not uncommon. Its sad but its the truth. View

I dont see the issue tbh. Facebook is an incredibly popular socail website. Everyone at my college uses it very reguarly so it lets you keep contact with all your friends.

Ive tried the ps3's web browser on it and it just doesnt work, having it integrated would be really good. I like talking to people whilst playing games so it could go straight to the chat feature already in place.

And for those saying how it would clutter things up theres a answer. Like Vidzone and playTV make it an optional extra. That way you only have to download it if you want it.

For me it would be a great addition to PSN. Its just another example of consoles turning into entire solutions for entertainment. From games to music to video, and nw with social networking. Consoles mean that you only need one box under your tv.

Even TV is being put onto consoles with Play TV and sky. View

I played that level today and im not sure what the fuss is about.

SPOILER ALERT READ AT OWN RISK

You play as asn undercover agent, your not one of them. And the music and atmosphere didnt in any way glorify what you were doing. And then in the end ou are yourself killed, found out. If the charactters started using lines like tose in haze then it would be different but they dont. and you can skip the mission if you really want.

I think that some people will find it more offensive than others. But I think that it serves the story well. Teres no point hiding from this stuff it does happen and probably has happened recently in plces like Afghanistan. View

Id love facebook to be included in the ps3.

The web browser isnt good enough for it.

What would be cool is if you had your friends list, and then you could have an ioptional faceboon friends list to the right of it. Then you could talk to your friends on facebook throguh your ps3 whilst playing games.

It would be a cool feature to have. I personally use it to talk to good friends and especially for people i dont get to see much. View

the fact that it relased to day though and youve already finished it though doesnt hold me with much hope.

Doesnt matter though i got it from amazon for £32. In sainsburys they had it for £26 but they ran out.

All the same though considering most shops sold it at £45 Im happy with the price. Id never have paid over £40 for it. View

Shoddy screen shots, in many the shot was taken in different stances (crouched/stood), in different positions and even with different guns.

Youd think that they would do one set of screenshots first, and then use them as a refrence for the other console to get them the same... =S

All i can tell from them is that the ps3 seems to have darker shadows making them look more natural, apart from that completely identical. View

Its true though battlefield is pretty much MW2 but with vehicles and descructable buildings.

A friend told me before not to bother with COD4 and to get battlefield bad company 1 and i didnt listen, NOT making the same mistake. View

This game is looking good.

The gameplay seems tight. I like how when you get to a certain level you unlock a new reank, but your not forced into it, you opt for it.

Hopefully it will mean that only people who want to try leading will do so, making working as a team much smoother.

The only thing Im hoping for is a little more polish in the game. I know its 256 players but if they can reduce the jagginess, lock it to 30fps (if not already done) and lose some of the jaggies then Im happy.

Well that and the draw distance, for a game like this thats essential.

Am I setting my expectations to high? =P View

I think thats pretty reasonable.

its pretty clear that 3.00 ruined the ps3's so sony should pay for that, if after your warrantly the hardware goes wrong just out of bad luck then fair enough.

But sony created and distributed a piece of software which broke ps3's, not intentially but the blame completely lies with sony, and so at the very least consumers should get a free new ps3 in return. View

For a wii game that looks really good. I know the vid on N4G isnt using the whole screen but all the same the game looks really good.

Since i probably wont bother with MW2 since battlefield bad company 2 looks better, I might pick this game up on the wii instead, Ive been dying for a good shooter sing motion controls just to see how it works. View
