I think Assassins is a choice. UC2 was overhyped, although everyone but me seems to love it. And its not like I'm a AC fanboy, I hated the first one so much that I actually broke the disc rather than trade it in so that hopefully one less person would have to go through the punish. But it is probably my GOTY (Assassins 2 that is) for 2009. View

In anycase, the original comment is on the mark, any game that resorts to some apparently hot models for an ad campaign must be bad, otherwise they'd show gameplay. View

First of all, the game is not bad, If it was a bad game I would have rated it no higher than 5. An 8 is a good score as far as I'm concerned.

You'd like to know what games I like playing, here is a fairly in depth list:

Battlefield 1942/1943/2/2142/BC, Crysis, CoD 4 (and to a lesser extent CoD 5), Colin McRae Dirt/Dirt 2, Gran Turismo 3/4/5P, Uncharted 1, Delta Force Land Warrior, Monster Truck Madness, BioShock, Cryis Warhead, Prince of Persia (Sands of Time, Warrior Within and the new one), Operation Flashpoint 1/2, Croc 1/2, Mirror's Edge, Infamous, GTA III, Ratchet and Clank (All PS2 and PS3), Resistance FoM/2, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Race Driver: Grid, Little Big Planet, Motorstorm 2.

I don't know if you'd like me to be more comprehensive, but these are all games that at one point in my life I have spent vast amounts of time playing and thoroughly enjoyed. View

You may judge my opinion very lowly because I gave your beloved game a lower score than you would have liked, but come on, how is the AI excelllent?

Also, I gave Crysis, PoP and Battlefield BC higher scores for many reasons. They are all fun, they all look good, and unlike UC2, they actually do something new and original. The Nanosuit in Crysis is revolutionary, the graphics style in prince of persia is awesome (although Borderlands has ruined it by taking it too far), and Bad Company introduced wide scale destruction.

What does UC2 do that is original?

@ Spektical - I do actually mention that the clunky controls are fair enough because he was shot, so whats your point? Don't try and say that you're arguing facts, you aren't, its your opinion. I have tried to back up my opinions with reasons, what more can I do.

@ MAGNUM-RAM - That just means you are a baby and need to grow up, I'd love to see what would happen to you if you watched 28 weeks/days later. Some moments would have been cool if they weren't so predictable...

@ Mista-T (Comment 7.3) Crysis deserves a 10/10 for grapics because it is awesome in every aspect, every texture, every shader, every lighting effect is better than in any other game. Whats more, the graphics are just as good online, which is not the case with Uncharted 2. View

I thought I gave it a 9.1, but anyway, small difference. Sure, no review featured on metacritic gives a score lower than 90, but that doesn't mean that reviews with lower scores than 9 don't exist, just means that metacritic likes to bump up their featured scores.

In any case, it is your opinion that the game is more exciting, as I said many times during the review, I found the vast majority extremely boring. Train chase was good, but the majority wasn't up to stratch frankly. View

You are probably right, I was a tad harsh on it. But I was so dissapointed that the capaign was only 7 hours long and that the game overall wasn't upto the level that it had been hyped to that I just felt bad about the whole game. View

Did anyone find an issue at the start of level 18 i think it was where you could go straight through a rock and go behind a stair case? Also, Cloe went through a few doors on me, and the controls refused to do what I told them to do, and even when doing the same thing after respawning, they work. There are more than a couple of bugs with this game, don't know why people think it is so polished.

There was also a fault where a sign that i was climbing on fell off but I could still go there. Drakes hands also regularly go 10-15 centimetres through things when climbing etc View

WAY toio early to call. It stands a chance, but then again, so does Heavy Rain, GOW III, CoD 7, Halo Reach, Resistance 3, Bad Company 2, BioShock 2, Crysis 2, Agent, and about a million other games. we will have to wait and play them all to even pick a short list. View

@ 2.1: For sure, I never review a game that has multiplayer without playing it (the online) for a good deal of time (preferably at least 10 hours) first. Just finished the single play game on normal in 10 hours 28 minutes, which is a good length. Ending is a huge improvment over Drakes Fortune, the little conversation between Drake and Elaina is hilarious. Clowns FTW!

Should get some time to but the MP and Co-op through its paces during the week and into next weekend, hopefully have the review up within a week.

Is it just me or ar the treasures way harder to find this time, I actually found less in UC2 (20) than in my first playthrough of UC:DF (23), and there are around 40 more this time. View

EA didn't make Crysis, they merely published it as part of the EA partners thingo, whereby all EA does is distribute it and have minimal say into how the game turns out.

Why don't people like EA? I have never played a bad game made/published by them, and the list of their games that I own is above 20, so whats the deal? View

I disagree to a point. Sales absolutely do matter to consumers. For example, with game development, a really great game may not get a sequel that it deserves if sales are too low to recoup development costs. On the hardware side, what happened to Sega? Not enough sales so that had to quit the league, allowing MS into the fray, which has been bad for consumers because of all the exclusive DLC deals going down. View

Lol, I've had mine for 3 days (My 40GB one broke and I couldn't see the point getting it fixed). Very happy with it and Uncharted 2 so far. View
