I installed Windows 7.....
....and I thought it was excellent. It was fast, responsive and contained lots of improvements over XP and Vista.

But....I'm back using XP SP3 after only 3 days.

The reason is that the company that makes Punkbuster refuses to update their program to be compatible with Windows 7, thus rendering any online game that uses Punkbuster unplayable.

My main game is CoD4 and I get booted after only 1 minute because these idiots will not update their software.

This annoys me greatly as I was really impressed with Windows 7. View

It wasn't too bad....
If you use settings comparable to the quality of the console versions then GTA runs very well.

It is only when you push the settings that the performance issues occur. View

I'm not using the term wrong...
The article in question is calling these games exclusive to only 360 owners....but they are not.

They are also available for PC owners.....which means they are not exclusively available on the 360.

It doesn't matter how it is phrased.....games like Gears, Mass Effect and L4D are not exclusive to the 360.

That is a cold hard fact.

A 360 is not needed to play these games......so they cannot be exclusive. View

I don't own a 360.....
....and I also have neither a PS3 or Wii.

Yet, I have somehow played and completed 3 of these 360 "exclusives".

How can that be?

dictionary.com tells me that exclusive means:-

a)limited to the object or objects designated or,
b)shutting out all others from a part or share

So is the 360 (a)limiting these games to only the designated 360 console or (b) shutting out all other gaming platforms from sharing these games......no, of course it isn't.

These 360 exclusives are merely timed exclusives at best.....and sneaky marketing at worse. View

I use wifi...and when i play my online games I get connection issues with vista 64 every 60 seconds.

Some points...
1 - If you find a reliable server with some good house rules, hackers and cheaters are often weeded out quite quickly. I very rarely have a problem with people using aimbots, wallhacks etc.

2 - I can connect my PC to my 40 inch hdtv via HDMI, Fallout 3 looks much more detailed than my friends 360 version on the same TV. View

It's not just the financial troubles....
Nvidia have more problems than just the financial crisis.

They have also lost a considerable amount of their market share to ATI as a result of the latest batch of GPU's.

The 48xx series has been very competitive from both a performance and price perspective.....a lot different from the NVIDIA 88xx series that dominated the ATI 38xx series. View
