The co-op looks pretty fun. The graphics don't really look as detailed as I'd hoped, but in this kind of set up, I don't think they matter that much. I'm sure single-player campaign probably plays a little better.

THINGS I LIKE: Being able to climb about everywhere.
THINGS I DON'T LIKE: The 'hiding in the shadows' effect is kinda annoying. But I think you'd get used to it.

If I had a 360, I'd probably pick this game up. View

HD-DVD was cheap at first because of the war. If it had won, there would be no reason to sell it cheaper than it's SD counterpart.

Production costs and consumerism aren't always controlled by the other. Especially in the digital realm. View

I think that, as it's been shown, Natal won't do anything but satisfy a casual crowd.

The PS Motion Controller, however, should be pretty cool with FPS or TPS games. Especially once 3D is available. For instance, RE5 is supposed to be both MC and 3D compatible when those features launch. How much more fun would that game be with the precise aiming of MC and the intensity of 3D (I've played it in 3D on PC, and I play everything in 3D now).

Unless Natal comes up with an additional way to expand to a more serious crowd, then I don't think it'll last long. It'll just be a short lived fad...like Wii Fit. Now that every housewife in America that bought Wii Fit at launch is still fat, demand has quieted down. View

Ditto. I used it for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy 12 back at launch, when the PS3 didn't have much of its own. Then, I used it for God of War 2 because I had never played it. Other than that, why would you want it? Sure, it's nice to be able to say I have the best PS3 ever (60GB), but that's like saying I have the best penis ever. No one really cares but my wife. View

Yeah, water is what I'm most interested in. Most of my friends have stopped playing LBP now, so online create is not that big a deal. If it was available a year ago, it may have had bigger impact. View

Killzone 2 was a great game, but I'd hardly say it's a Game of the Year candidate. Of course, I've played Uncharted 2, so my opinion is obviously biased. For me, there's no question that Uncharted 2 is the best game ever, so why mention others? I'm just nervous that a bunch of 360 fans are going to skew GOTY toward MW2, just because not everyone has a PS3. View

It's a little frustrating to see people actually dis the PS3's graphics chip. Yeah...we know...it's not great. But does everyone forget that Sony wasn't originally even planning on using a graphics chip? Does everyone forget that some of the most impressive PS3 tech demos were done using only the CELL Broadband Engine--and without a GPU at all? It's true. The only reason Sony added a GPU was to make multiplats easier to program for. And that's why they rarely look as good as the 360 version. Because the PS3 GPU is not as great. But to real gamers, that doesn't mean JACK. Because the PS3 doesn't need a GPU. Games like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 prove it.

So leave your GPU talk where it belongs...in the stone age. View

There are developers saying that the 360 isn't maxed out, either, so what the crap are you even talking about. It doesn't matter how easy something is to program for. What matters is how well the code is optimized. Even if you can shave 1ms off in 500 different places, you've just optimized a full 1/2 second on the code. In programming, that's HUGE. View
