I agree i swear every other game is in first person... who is to blame...... Halo ....... The vast success of Halo made every dev want the same success hence we get Metroid Primes (clearly a game meant to be in third person just look at the New metroid) Escape from butcher bay, Bioshock, and other games which wouldve been better with third person gameplay. Now COD MW is the new FPS cash cow so the end is no where in sight for the FPS milking.

Either you two are completely blind or your COD loyalty has gone to a new level. I have played MW2 EXTENSIVELY OVER 7500+ kills so far, and it isn't the best game ever on the PS3 alone about 70 - 80% of the community disappeared...

.Why? because it the same game from 2007 for the most part,

Not to mention it is incredibly easy my 11 yr old son and my friend's 8 yr old son play all the time and average 20 kills.

I agree GWAVE but if you speak negatively about any mainstream product the "Loyalists" will appear.

The 360 face buttons feel toy like in comparison and the Dpad is horrendous and awkwardly placed other than that i have no problem with the 360 controller.

The sixaxis broke so easily ive gone through 3 sixaxis controllers, but the DS3 is perfect other than the R2/L2 shouldve been concave instead of rounded your finger can slip off the the buttons, the triggers are better.

On a side note why is it that 360 exclusive devs tend to have foot in mouth disease View

i agree with ultimolu, all fanboys are hypocrites. Yes the PS3 has minor firmware issues, just as X360 has had issues with its fall facebook twitter update. The truth of the matter both systems have some issues.

What the people above are complaining about is the weekly onslaught of negative news the PS3 recieves. When in my opinion the 360 has more negative issues but we see far less negative news aimed at the 360.

All im saying if so called journalists are going to nitpick about every little thing on one console, do it for ALL THREE, OR IT JUST MAKES YOU SEEM LIKE A FANBOY SITE TRYING TO GET HITS. View

PS3 fans are just holding valve accountable for what they say.
Naughty dog didn't come out and say oh we don't make games on 360 because the development is too hard, instead they are truthful and say we prefer to work with Sony because our relationship with them. Valve just be real say you rather work on 360 & PC instead of belittling peoples console of choice and its community View

you are throwing out your hypothesis now. Theres that big "if".

As a person who stood in line for the X360 and the PS3 i witnessed the anticipation for both consoles and there was a far greater demand for PS3's than X360 at thier respective launches, just off the history.

Stood in line one night for a X360 , over 48 hrs for a PS3.

PS3 couldve caught up at their launch had sony not botched it and not provided enough consoles. Once the launch day hype faded and consoles werent available people turned to buying the Wii (launched the same week) and the Xbox 360.

The demand for PS3 is there its always been there now the price is right its showing in the sales.

Hows that for logic

As long as the GAMES are there im happy. Thats all that should matter to any GAMER with thier console of choice, and we all know who wins that battle. View

MW2 will be the number one selling game this year. But that doesnt mean every gamer with a console should go out and buy it. To alot of people MW2 is MW1 with new guns new maps and streaks galore yet same MW1 engine (seems paltry for a game 2yrs in development).Not to mention Bobby Kotick and his antics against the PS3 and COD price hikes, which leads some people to not support activision and COD. Others flat out dont care about FPS games. The rest will buy COD: MW2

@BPAC - Dont pass Ape007's comments off as facts. The only fact he stated was about DLC. Party system you do know MW1 on PS3 had a party system? right? PSN or XBL, PS3 or X360 you will be getting mainly the same experience. besides two early map packs everything will be the same, as someone who plays on XBL and PSN, i can say they both experience lag, some games still have glitches and people still try to cheat, one big difference though cross game voice chat and $50 a year.

MW2 will be good but this isnt 2007 when COD:MW had little competition. Uncharted: Drakes fortune was a new ip and Halo 3 was its only competition. (and it still beat the almighty Halo to become the number one game on XBL til W@W)

In 2009 the competition is much more fierce for MW2. especially on PS3 View

i could care less about the damage modeling, as a car fanatic all i care about is the accuracy of each car's handling and the amount of different cars i can use.

Why worry about damage when the point of a drving simulator is to drive good not crash. Its Gran Turismo not Burnout. Damage modeling is just part of the graphics you should be more concerned about damage to the handling.

And i havent stepped foot on Laguna Seca or drove an Audi A8 or attended a 24 hr le mans race. and i am still a Real Racing Fan View

Well seeing as Microsoft is treating MW2 as thier game with the MW2 x360 bundle , timed exclusive DLC, and advertising money backing the microsoft version it should. Not to mention PS3 having twice as many games this Fall/Winter.

MW2 will be X360 biggest title this year undoubtedly.

Ill be picking up MW2 and the GOW collection on 11/10

uncharted 2 is a masterpiece, but Gta4's city was also masterfully done.

no open world city is as real and alive as Liberty City. The story was meh, but thats why we have Liberty City episodes. it shows the main character in GTA4 is the city. it deserved high scores just not perfect scores.

Only time Liberty City will be matched is in either Red Dead Redemption or Agent.

One of the greatest of our time.

Uncharted 2 is insanely fun and probably one of the most cinematic games ever.

Its a must buy reguardless if some reviews give it an 8 or 10

If u own a PS3 do yourself a favor go buy or rent or whatever you must to experience this epic adventure.

As an avid gamer Halo 3 DID NOT do much original and I have played and beaten (numerous times) every Halo except ODST. "Halo 3 has a ton of originality unlike Uncharted 2 (New vehicles, equipment, Multiplayer)," New vehicles? or do you mean the vehicles they meant to add in halo 2 like the ATV. Multiplayer??? you do know Halo 1 had multiplayer and Halo 2 took it online the only Original thing is Halo's Forge mode. As for equipment alot of the equipment was existing items from other games retooled to fit the Halo Universe.

Bottom line Halo ODST got a pass with a 8.9 (it has the EXACT multiplayer from Halo 3 for 60 bucks forget unoriginal thats just lazy)

how about this for original...How many games have released a game the second in a franchise (in the same generation 2 years no less) and it's far ahead of the original?

Not Gears, Not Resistance, Not L4D, Not Mario Galaxy, Not Halo and i dont think MW2 will be that ahead of MW1. Now go research those sequals with GT. View
