yeah it does, and you'll have to kill most of them twice throughout the game, the others just once View

@raztad

I heard the same thing about how linear it is. So far it's been linear but I'm nowhere near at the end of the game, it's still really fun to level up though and leveling up the characters brings back memories of FFX. I'm still waiting on the opened up part, so far it's like a linear FF6 where your party is always split up and then meets up later, the summons are awesome too. View

The 360 port has like...nothing wrong with it lol. I played through the PS3 version 100% but once I played the 360 version yeah...I have to say the PS3 version got hosed when it came to the porting. It almost made me mad that I imported it...almost. The game was still good View

"1.6 -
the ps3 faithful are nowhere to be found :("

lol I imported the game at launch and platinumed the PS3 version and I'll still admit the 360 version is better from framerate to sharper graphics to load times. With that said, the game isn't that close to perfection (9.5) but it's one of the most fun action games I've played in awhile.

"with Bayonetta’s first five hours enthralling and its latter seven absolutely mesmeric"

I beat the game on my first playthrough in 9 hours, the first few levels aren't bad...some people are flopping the game just by going by the first chapter demo and they don't know what they're talking about. The latter hours IGN is talking is absolutely epic. THAT'S why you should play the game. The beginning of the game is nowhere near how amazing the game gets toward the end. You guys have no idea until you play it for yourselves. First few levels...eh not bad, a little slow, but the later levels + increasing your arsenal with new moves and weapons + amazing soundtrack + better story that gets more serious and makes more sense than DMC + epic boss fights = incredible action game. I actually plan on buying the 360 version from Gamefly when it launches. View

SMB3 was the first manual I thought of when I saw the title, I'm glad it's on there. View

@Cyrax

yeah I hear you, I can only imagine what gaming would be like if we brought the fanboys to the 8-bit generation.

"I have to blow into my NES cartridge?? FLOP! Brb...playing my Sega Master System with Shinobi"
"I have a grey and black blinking screen of death, I think NES is DOOOOMMED!"
"haha have fun with your Power Glove you stupid NES fanboys, the Sega Activator is the TRUE next gen motion controller" View

I wouldn't worry too much about the PS3 version since CyberConnect 2 is experienced with the PS3 but this is the first time they're working on the 360. But it's kinda weird that all of a sudden they're working on the 360 after being Playstation exclusive since the PS2 days. View

Not sure if I can give it that big of an ovation, but I'd say it's the most important...hmm....most important console FPS of the decade. It's the first one to take a step up after Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, but it's hard to even give it that with how great Half-Life 2 was. It made console FPSs popular again after a drought, that's about all I can give it. That game seemed like it was alot of people's first FPS too. PC gamers and Goldeneye fans wouldn't agree with giving Halo that much praise, but everyone else would thank Halo for alot of things. They should just change the title to "Xbox's Most Important Game of the Decade" since most of the reasons have to do with MS and not the gaming industry itself. I'd throw GTA3 into the mix of most important games of the decade too since it made controversial games mainstream. View

Both western and JRPGs are nice, but at the same time both of them have evolved just as much as the other. There's a few western RPGs with the same formula that's easy to pick up and play since similar games have it, and then there's some that change it up a little...same with some RPGs. I think both RPG genres are on the same boat IMO View

lol it's hilarious how the news has been since FF13 has come out. This isn't even news, just a bunch of BS articles getting approved View

I wouldn't say its the first truly next gen action game, but it does seem like they put alot of effort into the game compared to other multiplatform hack n' slash games in terms of how much you can do in it. The game is like Castlevania by the time you get all of her moves, she's just loaded with ways to kill enemies.

I platinumed it :)) It's at least a 30 hour platinum since you have to playthrough it 3 times, and can't unlock the harder difficulty until you beat it on Normal, Hard, and Infinite Climax.

There's stats, there's history, and there's the future that's not written yet and the future can always surprise anyone. Just ask Pachter every month when he's wrong about NPD...or anything for that matter View

@mikes

But it's exclusive in Japan, so I don't see how it makes any sense since it's not even out in the territories that are having a 360 release. View

"FF13 has managed to shift 1.1 million copies of the game in 24 hours - while Final Fantasy X managed to sell almost 1.8 million in its first week, with 1.4 million of those being day-one preorders."

LMAO @ this sentence

edit: http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-...

I gotta laugh even harder now..."FF13 flies off the shelves!!.....but it's a flop. that's why it's coming to the 360." Make up your mind AP View

Yeah I think PLAYSTATIONGENRATION hit it on the head. MS's strategy of getting FF13 was to prevent people from buying a PS3 for it. I doubt they really care about the game that much, as long as it's not exclusive in the US then their mission was complete. View
