Not exactly...
I was watching G4 interview a dev during a walk through and he stated it depends on the weapon. For example if you enter a room with a shotgun you would get 3 spot and marks while a pistol only gives you 2.

You can't compare the two...
Even though you may call them both stealth games, they are almost in completely different genres. They ways you play the games are just different. I always preferred Splinter Cell, but Double Agent was a last gen port and MGS4 was epic so it took the crown (single-player wise).

The new gameplay footage for Splinter Cell looks absolutely amazing. Very fast paced and stylized with a fresh coat of next gen paint. It looks to move the series forward by leaps and bounds.

I'm looking forward to this more than the newly announced Metal Gear game, as far as the 360 goes...

Please give us a kick ass Spy vs. Mercs mode!!!!! View

That looked really bad ass! Please have Spy vs. Merc like Pandora Tomorrow!!! Chaos was ok and the last one sucked, but the Multiplayer in Pandora Tomorrow has yet to be matched. View

Just got back...
Picked up Pure and SC4 for PS3. Good way to beef up my PS3 catalog. Was gonna get Devil May Cry and Lost Planet but they didn't have them even though I was the first person there. They had plenty of Pure though. View

Oblivion was full of glitches, pop-up, texture loading and framerate problems. It's combat was simply hit, block and magic. The conversations were not nearly as well done. The story wasn't as cool.

IGN Gave it a 9.3, and lots of people agree its one of the best RPG's ever.

Mass Effect pushes the limits of what can be done in the genre or in any video game for that matter. View

ROFLDINGS, you are saying 1080p output is not possible with a VGA cable?
Do PC's come standard with HDMI Outputs? Do computer monitors come standard with a HDMI input? Can PC games play at resolutions of 1080p and higher?

@ 1.4 & 1.6: 360 does native 1080P
Are you that stupid?

Not only do the new Premium and Elite have HDMI connections, but native 1080p can be achieved through both component and VGA.

The 360 does have an HD-DVD ad-on that plays movies natively 1080p through Component and VGA, depending on your TV. Most new 1080p TV's only diplay the resolution through their HDMI inputs, but most people don't have one anyway.

I would rather a developer use the resources available to make the gameplay better(# of objects on screen, physics, framerate) rather than going from 720p to 1080p. Sh1t, I dont even have a 720p TV, let alone a 1080p. And that's true for most gamers.

I'm not going to comment on which game looks better.
It doesn't matter.

But the 360 was released in Nov. '05
Forza 2 demo was released on May 9th '07

Thats 18 months.

I'm sure because it's a first party game, GT5 was in development before the PS3 was released. View
