it seems you didnt play killzone 2..

yes Crysis made photo realistic shots,water effects ,lighting,textures, vegetation ..etc but have you ever killed any soldier in Crysis? it looks like you shooting a doll or sth..their dead body move on the ground like there is no friction at all.

Killzone 2 made a new standard in Death animation,Blood spray,real FPS feeling(Mirror edge did that too),enemy AI, bullet impact on body ...etc

I played the demo and it was fun because it was exactly like GOW, believe me all game play elements except the upgrades are same as GOD..

anyway its a good clone.. good story and nice graphics (not GOW3 like but it looks good) specially Dante's cloth physics is awesome..:P View

I played PC version on the highest setting(HD4850) not in highest resolution (on 720p with AA actually) and I can say Character design is decent , environment is FLAT,character animation is good..

btw I played this game for more than (estimate!)40 hours (Level 23 mage, and a lvl 14 warrior) and never saw a HOURSE in this game ! :P there is dogs all over the place, I saw a Cow,rabbit,dragon... etc but no horse !

:P jk. this game is AMAZING , dialogs are unbelievably well designed.

you are right in numbers but..

when you have a Monopoly in a market like OS, entering this market cost too much (MARKETING , developing decent OS and getting third party support)

so MS didn have any major competition , sure Vista sold very well, the meaning of failure is failing in customer satisfaction, improving OS over last version, improving performance... Vista was just a beautiful OS with awful performance (when it was released some MS supporters said just buy 8 GB ram and you will be fine lol)

and believe me if Steve jobs or other Entrepreneur idols (google managers,amazon managers...etc) had this chance to have a Company with billions of budget for R&D we have many amazing products right now with MICROSOFT brand on it.. shareholders losing a big opportunity because they didnt have sth better than ballmer.

thats a Failure in my eyes . btw I think Windows 7 was the only reason MS can relax for some other year, but in long term they need sth more than just a decent OS , more markets and more divisions with huge profit. View

doing good isn't enough for these kind of organizations..

just look at Google and apple.. their entrepreneurship policy did amazing in recent years ( apple Iphone,Ipod touch...,google bought many organizations like doubleclick.com youtube..etc. .)

MS did worse than ever.. sure they did well because OS market is monopoly for them, what did you expect? but MS cant make sth decent other than OS (even vista was a failure!! but cause of monopoly stupid people or forced laptop customers bought that) ..

its stupid to compare movies and games in LUNCH day

because movies cant sell more than 200 million in lunch weekend(in a day!! hell no), 4000 places each with 3 screens full of people can produce about 200 million in 3 days.. but you can sell 3 billion copies of videogames in one day because there is no physical limit ..

and btw 60$ compare to 10-12$ ticket is a good point too..

but in ""production budget"" point of view, some videogames did hell of a good job lately.. Mega-hit movies cost more than 150million to produce but in video-game world devs can make 10 AAA titles with this amount of money. View

its not all about the amount of games with same title.. its about not improving the game so much..

Modern Warfare 2 is milking Modern warfare franchise(lame I know but true) because they used SAME engine WITHOUT improvements with 5 hour(at least intense) SP.

compare Uncharted 2 with first one. or compare MGS4 with 3 (whole new Ideas,bosses,time,location,gra phics,story...)

anyway I agree with you that there is titles like Mario,pokeman..etc ( milked to the last droplet )

its sth like PS eye (CAMERA!) but instead it has 2 cameras and it scans all of your body movements in 3D and transfer those movements into XboX360 in realtime (dont know the amount of lag ). also up to 4 people can play with one Natal hardware.(it has more features like voice & emotion recognition.. etc)

sth like motion capture but just with 2 camera and without any other hardware(shining bubbles what so ever..) so its not that precise but it will be so much cheaper than those high-tech motion capture studios.

btw Im a PS fan so 360 fans must answer this question better than me.. View

Sony: give freedom to developers for new ideas and new IPs and then support them to make it better (resistance ,Uncharted ,Infamous ,Heavy rain ..) many games without number beside them..

Activision: Milk this IP to death.. until last droppet we wont make any new IP .. lets make Guitar Hero 42 , Dj HERO 123 and now Drum Hero 21 ..

Microsoft: Go away , I would rather give 50 million to Rockstar for 2 DLC Packs than invest in you stupid retards... View
