Quite the contrary...
Are you trying to say that Metal Gear Solid 4 only sold because it was a pack-in? I already owned a PS so I didn't need the pack-in to sell me a game that a)has an immense production value and b)that I knew I wanted. You don't want LBP, don't buy it. No one is forcing you. And as far as it not selling when it's not bundled, seems that a world wide recall of a game (and the mad, raving lunacy that followed) with no mention of recall of bundles (pack-ins) would suggest that this game was going to sell fairly well on it's own. I know I pre-ordered and again, I already own my PS3.
And, on a personal note, glad you have more gaming experience than it sounded like you did in that first post. Someone such as yourself should realize that capitalism has driven us to paying $60 for games and $300 or more for game systems we don't need. And as long as people keep doing it, they'll keep making it. Just don't expect me to believe it's the only way it will ever sell as you seem to.
