You should probably clarify a bit as you did on the forums. The staff aren't really involved in this like it is made out to be, but more so who owns the site, or as you say, "elite". To my knowledge, even the admins don't get paid nearly as much of the money you are suggesting either, and of course as said before the mods do not (which unlike contributors haven't been hired like mods/admins have).

As for your suggestion of upping the prize that probably could be done (I don't know how much though) and also simply because the site has grown since the contests were first implemented. There are certiantly good reasons to up the prize too. That could also be part of the elusive site update which is supposed to bring about a lot of improvements (I have no idea of when that will actually occur unfortunately).

At the end of the day though it is their site, and it is their money. However simply suggesting upping the to prizes isn't anything unreasonable either. View

7 sku's? I can understand maybe 2 or 3 for people who either want something basic or want everything or stuff here and there, but some of this sounds a little overdone. Windows 7 basic allowing 3 apps concurrently? So you would only be able to run 3 at one go? Would this be in all netbooks perhaps? In that case I can sorta understand, though by then netbooks could be more powerful. but still a few versions would be good not 7 of them lol even if it matches windows 7 lol.

I was thinking of upgrading from xp to vista in bootcamp since there have been some improvements, but then was thinking that I should wait till windows 7. I might just wait still and get windows 7 home premium. Though I would have to wait until bootcamp could support it I suppose. I might just hold of on buying parallels or vmware too until then too lol.

Other than this at least it sounds like windows 7 is a pretty good OS. View

There is a Brothers in Arms game I'm hearing about. It seems it has crashing issues so a lot people are complaining about that and rightly so, however it seems the people that are able to play it are liking it. It seems a step in a good direction. View

It seems for many vista has been hit or miss. I think to a certain extent its the bandwagon to hate vista however many have good reason to(plus the vista capable sticker was misleading in many cases, thus many had to go back to XP).

When my older computer died(was using windows xp media center 2005) I used the vista PC in the house and it was fairly powerful, and good enough to use vista(top of the line virus software, as in business virus software because my dad used it for work beforehand).

Initially it ran pretty well, and I liked it however over time Vista just went wonky on me. I had crashes on and off and updates didnt always download right, the user profiles went crazy and everything. It just got really annoying, and it had business end virus software so it wasn't because of viruses or anything(beforehand my dad used it for work). My previous computer as I said ran XP and it ran pretty well with the usual issues, but seemed overall to work better than Vista did.

Around this time I was looking at macs since I was just transferring to university(this happened during the summer) and ended up getting a Macbook pro and I dont regret buying it at all, and was worth the investment. OSX has literally run perfectly minus a few issues with i-tunes. I am using XP through bootcamp and am glad I can. I was thinking of getting rid of XP though and using Linux(since supposedly you can play PC games through it now) with OSX though maybe I will hold off and see how Windows 7 ends up.

Hopefully Windows 7 turns out good, though initially it will probably have issues. View

Wow people make WAY too big of a deal of this lol. I saw a difference but nothing too bad. The ps3 version seemed blurrier, though the only time I really noticed it was at the very beginning in the water, so its really no big deal,

But that is just what I saw. There are sooo many different claims here lol. So the question is who is right?

I will still probably gamefly the ps3 version regardless of how it looks for the extra content depending on what it is lol. Then again graphics arent too big of a deal for me(though I do like a certain standard however its no deal breaker for me if the gameplay and everything else delivers)

Now if you found bioshock to be overrated to begin with then yes it doesn't really matter for you then lol, but for people who have and probably will enjoy it they should at least rent it.

I can understand if people are mad because they might of took "shortcuts" or whatever but gee its amazing to see the reaction.

But really lol at the end of the day they are consoles......seriously.
