I'm a casual/hardcore gamer. I can play with the hardcore gamers but I play games to have fun and not to prove I have the quicker thumbs and fore fingers. But I do kick a lot of ass when it comes to gaming. :P

I became a gamer at the tender age of 5 when I got my NES, a year later I got the SNES and fell even more in love. Soon after I bought a N64 but was dissapointed at all the games the PS1 was pulling away from me. But I stood up for Nintendo and bought a Gamecube, it was fun but short lived as it was stolen from me one weekend. A few years later I picked up a PS2 due to a gaming crave and enjoyed the titles I was able to play on it. Maybe Nintendo wasn't so great afterall, and I REALLY didn't wanna buy a console from Microsoft. I was set, Sony was the path for me. Finally next gen rolls around and I was totally into the whole hard drives and network capable console Microsoft was offering me, but I was intent on waiting for the PS3 because of the sweet sequels to the amazing titles the PS2 had. Soon however, I was growing unhappy with Sony's broken promises and arrogance towards the competition and started investigating in on the Wii and Xbox 360. I found everything I wanted in a console was in the Xbox 360 and being sold for cheaper. Hence my mind was set, I was going to buy a Xbox 360 and I did. But don't worry, I'm not a Xbox 360 fanboy or a Playstation 3 hater, I'm pro gaming altogether and support all contenders of this all out war.

So I wonder which path I'll take for next gen? Sony? Nintendo? Microsoft? Maybe even a company thats not even shown it's face this gen yet. Who knows.
