I think Dark Knight will give DVD a finishing blow in USA
Blu Ray will however kill DVD anyway since manufacturers are not making profit from it anymore

Blu Ray will become the mainstream standard in Japan within a year.
As for USA if economy recovers BlU ray will kill DVD within a year

But that could happen anyway since manufacturers make more from Blu ray now View

well APB and SC conviction would both come to PS3
since 2009 sees PS3 overtaking the console war as a victor with awesome games and price cuts

MGS5 might or might not be ps3 exclusive

However since MGS4 has already sold over 4.3m copies worldwide there is a definite possibility that MGS5 could indeed be PS3 exclusive

anyway it will be on ps3 regardless and with so many AAA ps3 1st party exclusives in 2009 and beyond i wouldnt mind if MGS5 is multiplat

SC conviction and APB will be on PS3 no doubt since 2008 is x360's probable last year in console war and PS3 will be crushing competition in 2009

even at 3x the price it outsells x360 in many parts of the world except UK and US View

x360 = flop box

PS3 SW sales >> 2:1 over x360 in europe and Japan

x360 is selling in USA because of recession

However KZ2 will give it a death blow

LBP outsold Fable 2 in europe
LBP charted at no1 all over europe
LBP sold 225k copies in just 4 days in USA

However Fable2 has disappeared from all over the charts WW. LBP will sell 5m lifetime and has outscored all x360 exclusives at metacritic

PSXextreme is owned by OBoxnerds too

And there are valid points in the article. Think about those 2 million whose warantees have run out now and hence they would have to pay for repiars which is very expensive View

MS sold around 2m x360s in 2005

The warantees of those 2m x360s would be over this year. Ofcourse those owners are bound to get RRODed but MS wont be repairing consoles for free anymore

that kind of bad publicity will cause x360 sales inspite of the fact that x360 future lineup is underwhelming. Plus SONY would be able to cut down the price of ps3 in 2009 not once but 4x

MS already has lost that advantage.

So things are indeed looking very bleak for x360 in the future. On top of that x360s are sellling just in North America only as price cut didnt have any impact elsewhere View

well theres some valid points in the article
PSX extreme is a very good website too

However x360 will sell in US atleast for some time since the economic is on doqnward spiral for quite some

It is not like europe where people buy ps3s since they have more money

MS is in a dire strait now as warntees of millions of x360s would be expired this december/november

expect some huge cries and roar in the upcoming days View
