The linked story
In the intro of this interview has some interesting stuff about a gamer specific drug called FPSBrain desiigned by a German pharmaceutical company.

Image rocking up a the next LAN, slipping a few of those and pwning your mates all night. View

There is always a tipping point
when it comes to beers. Especilly in actual games. Like Pool.

You get better, and better and then plummet into a disgrace.

Well me, anyway View

you're kidding right
The games for free. Which means its 'sales figures' don't prove a hell of a lot.

I admit it is well regarded by Wii owners, but they'll never be able to prove either way whether it has sustained any long-term popularity. View

I must admit
If a game is on PC and X360 I still think of it as a 360 exclusive. I guess if it is on both formats then I will opt for the 360 because I prefer playing from a couch rather than a desk.

I have an awesome PC, but it only comes out for gaming for the big PC titles like Crysis, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R View

Remember
The article is talking about middleware solutions that can be used as alternatives to UE3 by any old developer. Not about in-house propierty stuff used by the likes Konami. View

You have to admit
Activision seem to be making a lot of the mistakes that EA were making a few years back, just rolling games off the conveyor belt and pimping movie licenses left, right and centre.

As much as I hate the way EA have gone about a lot of their business, their upcoming game roster is brilliant. From Spore to Dead Space I'm totally keen. View

Improving your sex life assumes you have one already...

Seriously though, most of the game I play a ignored by my chick expect for the LEGO series, and the old-school Nintendo stuff. View

That almost the sanest comment I have ever read on this site View

Maybe
But the other two you mentioned were MS published games. May be different with EA.

Guitar Hero will also need some sort of clause too, will it not. Music swapping and all. View

Did you read it dude. That is pretty much what the article says. It agrees with you

That Xbox will have to change their policy if LBP is a success and thus both services will improve as a result. View

Track Record
Sony have a history of doing big mainstream successful titles like Singstar, EyeToy and Buzz. Microsoft should copy and paste this stuff straight away to make themselves more viable to that audience, but they take ages. How long did it take them to do Scene It, and Lips, and get the Xbox Vision out. Frickin' years man, well after the Sony brands had too much market awareness.

So to my point. I think LBP will go off, MS will spend three years creating a rip-off - BigLittleMoon or something - and completely miss the boat. View

@Syronicus
I was going to say the same thing. I have actually found myself playing less online and more offline in this generation for some reason (matchmaking is a joke), but i still look forward to them. Other than GoW 2 I'm not seeing a hell of a lot of long-term multiplayer gaming coming this chrissy for xbox exlcusively. Viva Pinata, Banjo, Too Human and Fable aren't exactly gone to make a LBP style impact.

Seeing a lot of talk and little action from the Xbox camp at the moment. Sony have Home to go... err... home and cry about, but LBP is looking the goods. View

I can see you point
I miss that stuff too. But I'll never got back to GTA 3 because it controls like a dog in combat.

Plus I love Euphoria.

Maybe that will be the DLC? Jets. View

The Big Question
So do we want a prequel or sequel.

I vote for sequel. I feel like I know the whole histroy of Rapture already due to all those audio tapes around Rapture. That said, how do you do a sequel given the ending (I saved all the Little Sisters). I mean it (all to briefly) told the rest of the dudes life. View

on the hate train
Wow, pretty negative GTA vibe in here. I haven't played the game for months, but reading through the list just made me realise how awesome the game world is and its complexity. Made me want to play it again. View

dumbest comment ever
I hate when I read stupud comments like that. why not? read music or movie press and they drop f-bombs and the like left right and centre. yet someone says something exactly as you would feel it (as in it would suck) and you go all mommy's boy on them.

no professional journlist... you idiot, one just did. View

you won't have to stick around to long though
to see how pumpkin here is a bit of a baby. duplicate story, are you serious... can you read dude.

In a couple of weeks that mag will be out saying the same thing as well. I have been lied to too many times by the likes of Sony and Microsoft (and 1Up and IGN for that matter) to just believe their stuff. This makes much more sense to me. But then again i can think for myself. View
