You think it's great- then fine. For me it's not that great. One more thing- dolt? Haven't heard that one for a while ;) View

Not really
The only thing done by IM here is Emily's face. The rest of her body as well as the surroundings are real. And that's not what I call impressive. View

Exactly
We've seen merely 20 minutes of gameplay, and people are already whinig how bad the game looks. That's sick. View

Well..
While the CRT monitors, do in fact use less energy when diplaying black, LCD displays are using more energy! That's because the natural colour for the LCD to be diplayed is white, anything other than that costs extra power- and black is most power consuming. Everything is relative, eh? View

"and how well do you think Gears did on the PC compared to the `6 million 360 version?..."

Well, how old was GoW when released for the PC? It was still great, but gamers had chosen to play something else, as GoW hadn't been the only game on the market. View

Yes and no
Yup, when it comes to money- being a pc gamer means putting quite a lot cash into it. But once you get a decent machine, you're going play games with good frame rates for about 1,5- 2 years. And I mean high quality setings. Of course- games like Crysis or (it seems like it) Assassins Creed are power-hungry, but you stil have the comfort of not having to rely on one hardware setup, being able to change diffrent parts. It's an advantage rather than a con. It's also worth mentioning that having one and only one hardware setup- like the consoles- is a good thing, because it's easier to make apps for it, but that is not the point :P. And you can use your PC as a not-only-for-games machine. I'm aware that consoles keep getting those little nifty features like wifi or such, but let's be honest- it's not like on the PC. And that is a good thing, as those are two diffrent pieces of hardware for diffrent people. And it would be the best solution for all of us to be able to afford both the PC and a console. Cheers ;) View

Yeah right...
... who are you trying to fool? People have been saying that for years, and guess what... Pc gaming is still alive and it's doing great. There will be always consoles and PCs. Period. View
